Hello everyone !
My name is Léa, I am a classical singer, mezzo-soprano from France, I recently graduated from Geneva High School of Music with a Master in Vocal Performance and relocated in Berlin.
I give singing lessons for beginners and intermediate level, I am passionate about voice and teaching. I adapt to your own needs, goals, repertoire you want to work on, and I am here to help you grow as an artist and to develop your vocal potential. My work is to help you sing as freely as possible, with a healthy voice and connect to your instrument, project your voice with less efforts.
My approach is build on the tools I have learned throughout the years, on my experience and academic training. A typical lesson includes: exercices to warm up the voice and our body, vocalises, body awareness, vocal technique, diction, and work on one or several pieces, interpretation. A vocal coaching session is your moment, I am dedicated to your progress and for you to have fun while singing.

I have different kind of lessons:

1. Face-to-face lessons of modern singing

Modern singing: technique, improvisation and repertoire
The face-to-face classes take place at a studio in Prenzlauer Berg and are mainly aimed at adults and teenagers who want to learn music. They have a duration of 50 minutes.

In singing classes, breathing and vocal technique are worked through warm-up exercises, always with the aim of working the voice in a healthy and correct way. My classes are mainly focused on the repertoire of the student’s preferred style, which can be pop, soul, jazz, blues, bossa nova, tango and bolero, among others. Each style is worked differently and with the appropriate resources to lead to a good interpretation.

Both for warm-up and repertoire I usually accompany the student on the piano. Depending on the style sometimes I may work with karaokes. I also teach a good use of the microphone, to fight stage panic and to enjoy a performance on stage. The singing lessons are aimed at people of any level, from beginners to advanced, even to someone who is preparing an exam for an upper grade of modern music.

My main objective is above all that the student feels motivated, and not under pressure. For me it is very important that the student enjoys music and the music lessons.

2. Initiation to piano: modern harmony and auditory education

The piano lessons are aimed primarily at beginners. My intention is mainly to prepare my piano students so that they can later develop a more advanced style with a teacher whose main instrument is the piano. For this, I start with basic exercises for a good hand technique and with simple songs so that the student learns to read music. For those who already have a basic level, I start directly with scales and chords, mostly focusing on teaching songs in modern harmony. The main objective is the motivation of the student, avoiding pressure. For me it is very important that the student enjoys music and the music lessons.

3. Modern singing on-line lessons

Modern singing on-line classes: technique, improvisation and repertoire
Like face-to-face classes, online lessons last 50 minutes. They are also aimed at adults and teenagers who want to learn music and find virtual classes more comfortable, for whatever reason.

The lessons are given through a virtual meeting app, either Jitsi or Zoom. They are similar to those in the classroom, with the difference that a little more time is devoted to the repertoire than to the technique.

I consider of great importance that the student enjoys the lessons also in this case and does not lose motivation.

I completed my master's degree in music education and classical singing at the music school "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a soloist at the music theater in Sofia, I participated in operettas, musicals and operas. In Berlin I was a music teacher at a primary school and at the children's theater as a theater teacher.
I am currently an actress and singer at the musical theater “Kabarett Lori” and an active musical pop and opera singer in and around Berlin.
In addition to concert activities, she is a singing teacher and early musical education teacher at a music school. I offer singing lessons for beginners and advanced of all ages in classical singing as well as jazz and pop / rock singing.
In early musical education, the focus is on the full-body experience of music, dance and movement, elementary instrumental playing with off-instrumentation and theater experiments, and instrumental improvisation.

Du wählst den Song aus und ich zeige Dir genau woran Du arbeiten müsstest, um so zu klingen wie Du möchtest.

Dabei bin ich maximal ehrlich mit Dir und sage Dir wie lange es ungefähr dauert bis der Song auftrittsreif ist bzw. ob dieser Song für Dich noch zu schwer ist.

Ich unterrichte gerne und leidenschaftlich, deswegen ist mir wichtig, dass auch Du motiviert bist, Spaß hast und eine Entwicklung spürst. Der Riesen-Vorteil bei mir ist, dass ich niemanden zwinge regelmäßig Unterricht zu nehmen, man hat ja auch viele andere Dinge im Leben zu tun und findet nicht immer Zeit zum üben. Du darfst also selber entscheiden wann Dein nächster Unterricht stattfinden soll. Was Du alleine lernen/üben kannst, das lasse ich Dich auch gerne alleine lernen/üben und gebe Dir sogar Tipps welche Apps oder Videos Du dazu nutzen kannst.

Ich bin 33 Jahre alt und habe 15 Jahre berufliche Erfahrung als Sänger, mit Bands und Solo, auf verschiedensten Veranstaltungen und auf allen möglichen Bühnen mit 10 bis 10.000 Zuschauern. Ich habe mit Pop und Rock Cover-Bands angefangen und später studierte dann Jazz Gesang an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Nach dem Studium habe ich für meine Weiterbildung noch privat Gesangsunterricht bei top vocal Coaches von CVT genommen.

Ich spiele auch Gitarre auf Semi-Professionellen Level und kann Dir auch einfache bis fortgeschrittene Gitarrenbegleitung beibringen.

🌍 My Experience & Why I Teach

I studied Classical Cello with distinction in Athens and trained further with eminent teachers such as Dimitrios Gouzios, Catalin Ilea, and Lucio Amanti. Since relocating to Berlin in 2008, I’ve been immersed in experimental, free jazz, and contemporary music scenes.

I perform in projects like Black Veil and Antiqva, have composed for theater (including The Robbers at Meiningen National Theater), and worked in film & art productions collaborating with composers like Johnny Klimek and Mario Grigorov.

Teaching is a core part of my musical mission. I believe technique should serve expression — and that every student’s voice is unique. Whether your goal is mastery of classical works, sonic experimentation, or composing your own music, I aim to support your growth with clarity, empathy, and creative openness.

I teach guitar and singing. My background is in traditional folk music, so for advanced students I mostly teach acoustic fingerpicking and harmony singing, but for beginners I also teach electric guitar, theory, classical guitar, etc. I enjoy working with children or adults.

A typical lesson includes:

🌍 My Experience & Why I Teach

I studied Classical Cello with distinction in Athens and trained further with eminent teachers such as Dimitrios Gouzios, Catalin Ilea, and Lucio Amanti. Since relocating to Berlin in 2008, I’ve been immersed in experimental, free jazz, and contemporary music scenes.

I perform in projects like Black Veil and Antiqva, have composed for theater (including The Robbers at Meiningen National Theater), and worked in film & art productions collaborating with composers like Johnny Klimek and Mario Grigorov.

Teaching is a core part of my musical mission. I believe technique should serve expression — and that every student’s voice is unique. Whether your goal is mastery of classical works, sonic experimentation, or composing your own music, I aim to support your growth with clarity, empathy, and creative openness.

I teach guitar and singing. My background is in traditional folk music, so for advanced students I mostly teach acoustic fingerpicking and harmony singing, but for beginners I also teach electric guitar, theory, classical guitar, etc. I enjoy working with children or adults.

I will accompany you on the piano or guitar, or we can use high-quality backing tracks. If you wish, we can also record your voice singing your favorite song to track your progress and celebrate your achievements.

You will learn in an easy and intuitive way to play freely, starting from the most common accompaniment styles played in a simple easy way. Along the way you will learn a music theory - harmony, chord progressions and hearing, that will help you improve the way you think and take your playing on the next level. Step by step we will be implementing new approaches that will take your initial style from beginner to advanced.
