Christopher - Delft321 CNY
Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Christopher and I am currently studying Computer science at TU Delft. I am able to tutor in both Maths and Computer Science at any elementary or High school level and have experience teaching a range of syllabus. Qualifications: - A levels: -A* in Maths - A* in Computer Science - A* in Music - Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Experience: ZVEZA PRIJATELJEV MLADINE LJUBLJANA (ASSOCIATION FOR FRIENDS OF YOUTH) ZPM is an association in Slovenia that aims to help underprivileged children in many different ways including food packets, after-school clubs, and tutoring. I originally started as a volunteer in 2016 and since then I have helped countless students with their school work; most commonly in Maths but also other subjects like Physics, English, and Chemistry. Later my position developed into employment where I would run after school clubs to help the children build confidence and talk about their emotions, make fun programs for summer camps, and of course, I continued with tutoring many children GIRLS DO CODE Girls Do Code is an organization in Slovenia that aims to get more women into STEM, they believe that this interest has to start in childhood and therefore they offer lessons in Computer Science to over 300 girls. This cause was something that I thought was incredibly important and so I became a volunteer for their organization. This entailed teaching a group of 10 girls the basics of Computer Science in a fun and creative way and was a very rewarding experience. Through my training for Girls Do Code, I was certified by Microsoft as an Innovative Educator. I currently work as a Maths teaching assistant at an international school in the Netherlands where I work with children struggling with maths in small groups. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Trusted teacher: English and Dutch in particular and languages in general are my passion and I am passionate to inspire others to improve their language skills. I am currently teaching English at a secondary school in Eindhoven. I have got the NT2 diploma and I can teach Dutch to expats and foreigners. I come from Vietnam and I would like also to teach Vietnamese to people who want to learn and to know more about Vietnamese language and culture. Some quotes that I like: "Do you know what a foreign accent is? It’s a sign of bravery." – Amy Chua" 'A different language is a different vision of life." – Federico Fellini "Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can; there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did." – Sarah Caldwell Qualities that I would like to see in my students: commitment and practice. - Learning a language is like learning a musical instrument. “Commitment is way more important than natural talent" - Learning a language is like running a marathon. “You don’t wake up one day and think: ‘Dude, I’m totally going to run the marathon of Los Angeles today.’ No, running a marathon or any significant distance requires practice and a healthy lifestyle.” My qualifications: - Pre-master of English language and culture, Radboud University, Nijmegen - Master of English Teaching at University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi - Master of Development Studies, University of Melbourne, Australia - NT2 (Dutch as a second languag programme II) diploma My work experience - English lessons to secondary students in the Netherlands for 2 years - English lessons to individuals and classes for about 10 years - English-Vietnamese translation and interpretation for different INGOs for 7 years Engels en Nederlands in het bijzonder en talen in het algemeen zijn mijn passie en ik inspireer graag anderen om hun taalvaardigheden te verbeteren.

Olivia - Neuchâtel1057 CNY
Trusted teacher: Are you curious about singing, but feel like you don’t know where to start? Do you already have some experience of singing and are curious about what your voice could achieve at its full potential? Do you feel shy about your voice and wish you could feel confident enough to sing in front of other people? I am Olivia, a professional opera singer who is passionate about teaching singers a healthy vocal technique in all styles of singing, and helping them to grow in confidence along the way. My teaching room is a safe space where students are free to experiment, make mistakes and discover everything about their voice with my full support! I have been teaching singing privately to pupils of all ages and levels for several years, as well as enjoying a busy performance career. I find that being a regular performer myself is very important when imparting knowledge and advice to my students because I want to teach you more than just the mechanics of singing - I want to guide you towards being an artist and expressing YOUR unique voice and personality. I work on vocal technique, drama and language, and have worked with children, teenagers, and adults - both those hoping to sing professionally and enthusiastic amateurs! Every lesson will include warmups and technical exercises as well as work on repertoire that we will choose together. I can teach in English, French or Italian. As for my performance experience: I began taking singing lessons at 13 years old after joining the school choir in secondary school in London, and adored the process of training my voice. In my teens, I performed in concerts as a soloist and also in a few musical theatre roles, most notably Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I moved to Switzerland and trained as an opera singer at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, and did a Specialised Masters (Soloist) at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. I have since gone on to perform with the opera houses of Geneva, Lausanne and Lucerne, the Opera House of Zrenjanin in Serbia, the Jeunesses Musicales Opera Studio (Croatia), London Grimeborn Festival, and have been a featured soloist at such concert venues as the Berlin Philharmonic, Salle Paderewski in Lausanne, the BFM in Geneva, the Cologne Philharmonic, and St Johns Smith Square in London. Most recently you may have seen me as Mrs P. in the Swiss première of Michael Nyman's 'The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat' in Vevey, or if you've been enjoying the program 'Blob Opera' this year, you might be interested to know that I was one of the opera singers working on this project by recording hours of material for a machine to create an algorithm that recreating an opera singer's voice! Good singing is about solid and healthy vocal technique, a good feeling for music, self-expression and confidence! I would love to work with you to build all of these parts of yourself and to see where your voice takes you. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with me!

Trusted teacher: I've been teaching English to small children up to teenagers at École Française Internationale. I give lessons for beginners and intermediate levels. I mix between French and English so the pupil doesn't get too confused, but also allows them to understand every detail. For beginners, we usually talk about our surroundings, what's close to us and what affects us on a daily basis. (Numbers, directions, the weather, asking simple questions, what's a noun and pronoun and where to put them in a sentence). I like to find playful activities so that the pupil/student is in control of their work. Of course, this is an example for a certain age group, but it also varies depending on their knowledge and their age. For intermediates, we make basic conversation. Ex: How do you go to school; What do you do in your free time? ; What's the weather like? -------------------------------- The start of the course with a new learner consists of detecting their level by talking about their background, what they already know, what they must master in order to no longer have any gaps. The first lesson also allows the learner to get comfortable and get to know me to establish mutual trust. That’s why I use a touch of my British humor to achieve this. (I generally do this at the start of the lesson with my students to establish a good mood and they are always delighted!) To help the learner better engage with the learning, I will ask them what their passions/hobbies are, this who interests him to arouse interest in learning. I will adapt my lessons on subjects that speak to him more. Whatever the reason for the course, whether it is to improve oral, written, reading or listening comprehension, I organize audio sessions, readings, everything necessary to deepen in the language.

Trusted teacher: ▪️ We are approaching the winter break and the training on the ground will not resume until the beginning of February. ▪️ The end of the year celebrations are approaching it is an opportunity to meet up with family, to eat well etc. In addition, the cold is present and reduces our motivation. ▪️ However, this is no reason to stop training! ▪️ On the contrary, this break in the season is very important because it will allow you to prepare optimally for the end of the season. Why that ? ▪️ In a club we generally do not have the time or the necessary supervision to offer a training program to each individual. The head coach manages his quota in its entirety and does not have the time to focus specifically on each player. The same for the athletic trainer (when there is one), it is difficult for him to follow all the players individually. ▪️ In any case, as a coach at the amateur level, this is what I experience on a daily basis and it is also felt by my players. ▪️ This is why I think that a weekly session can only be beneficial to allow everyone to progress. My training is for all profiles, children as well as adults, boys or girls, regardless of the level. ▪️ My sessions consist of technical and physical exercises allowing you to progress at your own pace. ▪️ After a first session intended to establish a diagnosis, I will set up a training plan that is as individualized as possible in relation to the objectives defined at the time of the first session. ▪️ The result is an essential point and seeing its progress is very important. For this, I offer you intermediate objectives that will motivate you continuously. Reviews will take place every 3 months to analyze the progress made and define new ones for the following 3 months. ▪️ I realize that asking for an individual trainer is an investment of time and money, which is why I do everything to make this collaboration fruitful. ▪️ My job is to help the player to develop on all points related to performance (technical / tactical / athletic / mental). ▪️ Possibility of individual or small group sessions. What I propose: ☑️ 1 session per week for 3 months, i.e. 12 sessions + 1 discovery session + 1 assessment at the end of the 3 months ☑️ 2 sessions per week for 3 months, i.e. 24 sessions + 1 discovery session + 1 assessment at the end of the 3 months PS: The year 2021 promises to be busy, which is why I am offering 1 additional session to people taking a lead and contacting me before January 1, 2021. PPS: With the health crisis we are going through, I am taking measures to reduce the risk of contamination (I wear a mask during the sessions, disinfect the hands before and at the end of the session, the equipment is also disinfected before and after the session ). Who am I ? ▪️ I am passionate about football and I want to put my skills and experience at your disposal. ▪️ I've been coaching for 10 years now, I started in France in the Lyonnaise region then in the Paris region until last season and I've been in Lausanne since this season. ▪️I took care of both male and female teams and in all possible age categories. ▪️ In terms of diplomas I obtained my UEFA A diploma this year and I still continue to play as a goalkeeper which allows me to keep a fresh eye on the pitch.

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I am flexible with the students needs and I embrace fun and creativity in my lessons.

Adam has been giving piano lessons to my 4 year old son, introducing him to musical theory and the piano with fun and games, which have made it very enjoyable and interactive for him. I can see my son's interest in the piano growing and he looks forward to his lesson with Adam. I can recommed Adam to anyone wishing to find a good piano teacher for their children.

Maxime was very responsive online and we were easily able to setup a time and place, and he was on time for our first class. The class itself was great. He was prepared, and clearly has experience teaching, having cited various methods, and selected one that he felt was most appropriate for my age, interests and level. He also realy seems to enjoy teaching!
