I studied under Itzhak Perlman since the age of 16 and under Don Weilerstein since the age of 15. For a time, I traveled the world to play concerts and recently I got married And have decided to slow down a bit. I have recently moved to Geneva for my husband and would love to teach. I have taught quite a bit in New York (all ages and all levels), many of those students were directly sent to me from Itzhak Perlman. I live in nyon but can be mobile. I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. Suyeon is an excellent teacher as he engages the student to take ownership in their learning process. She was very generous in sharing her knowledge and experience in teaching the violin. She was very attentive to all aspects of violin playing: solfège, rhythm, technique, intonation, posture, position to mention a few. She communicates clearly and gives positive feedback to the student. My son learned a lot from her in one lesson!
