I’m a young, freelance violist and I’m happy to share my love for music and my instrument with whoever wants to learn :)
I give both lessons for viola and violin, all levels, from beginners to advanced students.
I believe being open and receptive is the best way to learn for both students and teachers. Currently, I am working as a teacher at the International School of Brussels.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam).
I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have fifteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).

In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway.

The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them.

It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old.

Other possibilities, a combination of instrumental/theory lessons and prices can be discussed.

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music.
I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil.
I also aim to include some violin duos, to be played with me during the lessons, as I believe playing with other musicians is one of the best ways to enjoy music and learn useful musical and technical skills at the same time.
Another essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change.
I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to targeted repertoire and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music.

I give lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Je vous propose des cours de violon adaptés à votre niveau, que ce soit en complément de l'Académie ou sans être à l'Académie.
Je ne vais pas mentir, je ne fais pas le conservatoire mais je suis une musicienne amatrice plus que sérieuse avec de très solides bases théoriques, et qui passe beaucoup de temps à toujours améliorer ma technique. Même si je ne suis pas professionnelle sur papier avec un diplôme, j'estime avoir assez de niveau et de connaissances pour pouvoir donner cours au moins jusqu'à un niveau intermédiaire. J'ai 25 ans et j'ai commencé mes premiers cours de musique à l'âge de 4 ans. Je peux aussi aider pour le solfège si besoin.
Mes études principales c'est la psychologie mais en parallèle je consacre beaucoup de temps à la musique et à toujours me perfectionner.

J'ai de l'expérience en ce qui concerne la pédagogie car j'ai été animatrice scoute pendant 5 ans et j'ai déjà aussi donné des cours de français en primaire et secondaire donc ce n'est pas un terrain nouveau pour moi.
Actuellement je donne cours particulier de français à un enfant et j'ai 3 élèves de violon.

Une de mes motivations est de rendre les cours de musique particuliers accessibles à tout budget, qui pour beaucoup de personnes sont souvent trop chers.

Je propose des cours tant pour enfants que pour adultes.

We will explore the world of electronic music, starting with the basics of sound synthesis and moving on to multi-channel diffusion in 3D audio.
We will see how the most widely used software in the world of electronics (Max/MSP, Ableton, Reaper) works to build performance environments, where we will be able to use the most popular plugins for signal processing or create our own processing engine.
MIDI protocol configuration for controllers, OSC, construction of small electronic circuits with the help of Arduino.
We will pay attention to the acoustic and psychoacoustic aspects of sound that are fundamental for the correct diffusion and listening of music.
We will also take a look at the main audio recording techniques.
As I am very passionate about this and have the necessary equipment, we will have the opportunity to see analog synthesis up close through the use of modular synthesizers.
