I have facilitated workshops and given classes throughout my career all over the world. English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time. I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching. I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. Hello, I am an Erasmus student who is going to spend this year in Brussels. I teach English and Spanish. I am a 3-year translation and interpretation student, so I have a good knowledge of the English language. I also teach Spanish since being a native I think it is a good opportunity to learn the language.

In the case of tutoring, I base my lessons on the subject seen by the student by explaining to him in another way with many examples and by making him practice as much as possible. In case of learning the basics, I have set up my own totally interactive method so that the student can practice and during which I speak almost only in English to be close to immersion during the lessons. I rarely use a textbook—some students enjoy primarily having conversation without other resources needed, but I also often use songs, videos, and texts of various kinds to provide a wide variety of topics, new vocabulary, varieties of listening practice, etc., and I also use varieties of ESL material from various internet sources as well.

Since I believe that the learning environment is one of the keys to successful language learning, I endeavor to make students feel comfortable and content in my lessons: to ask questions if they are unsure and keep an easy but rewarding pace of learning. Depending on how my students feel they learn English most effectively, I adapt my lessons to use materials that give them the best results possible.
