About Me
I hold a Ph.D. degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from Polytech’Lille, University of Lille 1 in France. My current focus of study is on unified multilevel graphical modeling of a set of cooperative technological component systems in a System of Systems concept. During my research, I mastered the low level programming and usage of the following robotics systems: Robotino (Omnidirectional Robot), NAO (25 DoF Humanoid), and KUKA (6 DoF Production Line Robot). Furthermore, I demonstrated the likelihood of using an unmanned aerial vehicle as an external GPS sensor for enhancing the navigation of an intelligent autonomous vehicle (robuTAINer) in confined space such as seaport terminals.
I am very skillful at building data acquisition systems. I hold excellent skills in programming microcontrollers (Microchip & Motorola), microcontroller kits (Arduino), mini computers (Raspberry Pi) and designing/troubleshooting electronic circuits on printed circuit boards. On the other hand, I am excellent in computer programming (Windows + web) using java development kit and Microsoft .Net platform. I have a strong knowledge in C++ and python programming under Linux based operating systems. Moreover, I have a wide experience in collecting enterprise business rules and designing accordingly their database systems (CDM – PDM – SQL DDL – SQL DML – Stored Procedures and Views). I am also brilliant at editing Microsoft reports in SQL Server (RDL and RDLC).
I have an enormous passion for teaching, including both aspects: theory and practice. I have been lecturing the following materials at universities: Electric Circuits and Electronics, Logic Design and Computer Organization, Microprocessor and Microcontroller Systems, Analog and Digital Communications, Wireless and Mobile Computing, Computer Programming and Database systems. I am highly energetic and encourage discussions in class.
