My name is Ayse and I am a violin teacher. I completed my Masters in violin at Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and have 7+ years of teaching experience.
Everyone can learn to play an instrument as long as they have good guidance. I prioritize a methodological approach and building close relationships with my students.
-If you have a passion to learn violin, you can follow my course.
-My classes offer you to improve in versatile ways of violin playing. (Classical, folk, jazz&improvisation)
-We will study music theory and solfege alongside instrumental practice.
-I use educational methods that are adjustable to student needs.
-I combine teaching with educational games for children.
-Each month, I organize class concerts where students perform what they have learned so far in front of an audience of their parents and peers.
-Skype lessons are optional

I am a person with an urge to explore life and the world. Therefore I have a strong interest in meeting different cultures and expand my music by developing myself in new styles despite my classical education background. I have been playing the violin since I was 9. During my bachelor years I played in youth orchestras and worked at 'Istanbul Film Musics Orchestra'
After I finished my bachelor in 2013, I started to teach music theory and ear training at home, for students who wanted to enter the conservatory. After that I established my violin classes at home. Meantime I started teaching violin at Istasyon Art Academy in Istanbul. In 2016 I decided to do further studies so I came to the NL.
I conducted my research about the influence and use of traditional folk music resources on a contemporary music piece. I graduated from masters in 2018. My focus since then became folk music and jazz as well as classical music and i have been actively working as a classical violinist at orchestras in the Brabant region. Since then I have been residing in Tilburg.
