I have recently graduated from a CELTA course and I'm eager to apply my skills and knowledge. I have been given a good teaching practice and can use different resources. I mainly specialise in teaching English as a secod language for young people and adults. We will focus on building good vocabulary, understand grammar and use punctuation correctly. My goal is to help students improve their English as I personally understand the importance of it. I assign homework on a regular basis and provide periodic progress reports.

Hello! I’m Francesco but all my students call me Frankie. I’ve been playing drums and guitar since I was 15 years old living in Venezuela. I continued my studies in an American college for a year, to then decide to get my bachelors degree in Italy; a school called MAEurope (or currently Music Academy), affiliated with Middlesex, ACM and LAMA. After getting my B.A. Degree I moved to London where I continued to teach with a couple of agencies and play as a session musician for a couple of acts. I’ve been teaching since I was 22 years old in the same school I was getting my B.A. Degree: MAEurope. My first class ever were a group of 6-years old kids; lucky me ha? Well, they were great! The main challenge of having such a young age class was to keep them entertained and not loose focus. This situation gave me the tools to create my own way of teaching which is usually laid back, fun and not with a “school” approach towards the student. The kids don’t even realize they are learning until they actually get home and know how to play the instrument! Especially with young students. it is important to make the lessons fun and not tedious as this experience sets the way the student will look at the instrument for the rest of their lives: boring classes = boring instrument. These tools are good for adults too. I won’t use childish games, of course; but the ability to keep the lesson fluent and entertaining is one of my priorities.

Hi , my name is Rupinder and I love to teach Maths and Computer Science Programming! I have been a tutor from my College days and was teaching my juniors Mathematics side by side. I've learnt a lot about learning in the process. I focus on teaching maths intuitively, introducing basic concepts from scratch. This allows students to spend less time memorising and more time actually doing maths! How do I do it? By making maths fun! I have taken many students now from C's up to A's and even A*s with this methodology I have done double masters , One in Mathematics and other in Computer Science, both passed with distinction securing more than 75% and worked as a lecturer in Mathematics for One year, and moved to software development after my second masters, and working as software developer from last 10 years, and during my tenure as a software developer I have trained and tutored many students to in this field as well. I have recently completed my first year at University studying Bsc Mathematics with Accounting and Finance, I am predicted a First. I am looking for students to tutor on a subject I am highly passionate about. I am a sociable character and I strongly believe in a dynamic and personalised approach.I have had previous tutoring for economics (year 13 onwards) and believe this experience has taught me clearly how to provide best to different students needs. I'll mainly be focusing on content, exam knowledge as well as exam skills (I completed Edexcel Economics A, however AQA is similar). I am open to new teaching methods and I will be able to work at flexible hours and have had past tutoring experience.
