I am a singer, pianist, and general music educator based in Brooklyn, New York, where I work as a teacher at an award-winning music studio. Having graduated summa cum laude in 2017 with a degree in Music Education: Voice from West Chester University of Pennsylvania (WCU), I have studied various methods and approaches to illustrating musical concepts including music theory, music history, ear training, and applied lessons in voice and all major instruments. I work with students of all ages -- children and adults -- and teach ALL styles of singing! Anybody has the ability to sing! If you can speak, you CAN sing! My teaching harnesses the natural sounds everybody makes with their voices. As a beginner, we envelope the simple factors that go into making a beautiful piece, and find ways to feel confident within our selves and our playing skills. Starting from scratch and building the foundation of your playing is crucial during this era of learning, and with constant practice, time, and patience, we can overcome any obstacle in music together. Students in intermediate/advanced classes will have a heavier workload and more commitment to their lessons as well as tasks provided afterwards such as to-do lists and practice logs. These students are to be prepared 100% of the time with preparing their repertoire prior to the lesson, and maintaining their practice log accordingly.

Figure drawing isn't easy; it requires precision and practice. You must learn the basics of figure drawing to grow your skills. That is why having a strong understanding and practice of your basics is incredibly difficult and important. The basics include the correct method of drawing lines and circles, tips on understanding the anatomically correct proportions of the human body, and the practice of drawing what you see. This is the most challenging aspect of figure drawing, and it requires practice to simply put what you see on paper. It might seem tedious and somewhat useless, but from my experience, it was the foundation I wish someone had taught me. These skills aren't only used for figure drawing, but also for your other drawing endeavors. The class session will entail a step-by-step program based on your performance and progress when accomplishing each skill. I will guide you through a hands-on process to master each lesson. This is meant to curate an environment where you feel accomplished and for you to make mistakes and learn from them.

Good, My name is Luis, I am a Spanish student who moved to NY to continue my college career at Baruch College (CUNY). I study a double degree in Law and Business. I am offering individual and personalized Spanish classes to improve your oral and written communication. The main objective of my classes is to develop a fluid and structured communication of the Spanish language, either to prepare for international exams, to be able to communicate properly in the professional field or to reinforce and maintain previous knowledge of this language. In recent years I have been living outside my country and I have had to use a language other than my native language, realizing the importance of knowing several languages and the opportunities it provides.
