About Me

Andrés , violiste de gambe et violoncelliste, mène une carrière internationale avec plusieurs ensembles de musique ancienne. Il est membre fondateur de Vestigium, qui a obtenu le 1er prix du concours Juventudes Musicales de España en 2023 et le 3e prix du Concours International de Musique Ancienne Maurizio Pratola à L'Aquila (Italie) en 2024. Il est actuellement le professeur de viole de gambe au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Grenoble.
Il a commencé sa formation avec Javier Aguirre au Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Salamanca. Ensuite, il a poursuivi ses études supérieures de viole de gambe et de violoncelle baroque au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, respectivement avec Philippe Pierlot et Hervé Douchy. As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.
