About Me

I’m a young pianist from Belluno, Italy, currently living in Belgium, where I completed my musical studies.
I graduated from the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, gaining a solid foundation in classical piano performance.
With experience both on stage and in the classroom, I’m actively engaged in concert work, teaching, and preparing for upcoming competitions and performances.

Experience / Qualifications

I’ve had the chance to perform across Europe—Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, and Lithuania—in venues and festivals such as Opus74 (Flaine), Klarafestival (Brussels), contemPLAY (Vilnius), and concert series in Treviso, Castelfranco Veneto, and Antwerp. Upcoming performances include a solo recital in León, Spain (Fundación Eutherpe), and a four-hands concert in Terni, Italy for the “Opera in Canto” festival.

I obtained several prizes in competition such as the Vienna International Piano the Artepiano Piano Competition in Rome, the San Donà International Piano Competition, the Gloria Artis Music Competition in Vienna, the Ischia Piano Competition.

Beyond solo performance, I’m deeply engaged in contemporary music, having worked with the NECST Ensemble and collaborated with composer Theo Koita on projects like Piano Sonorities and Drame Bathypelagique. I enjoy working across disciplines, as in the Maisha Project, and I’m also active as a chamber musician, performing with violinist Edoardo Brandi, pianist Li Zihao, and soprano Phaedra Pribilla in our Lied duo.

Teaching is another important part of my life. I’ve taught in Italy (Feltre and Treviso) and currently give private piano lessons in Antwerp, where I’m committed to sharing my passion and experience with the next generation of musicians.

As a pianist and teacher, I have years of teaching experience at private and public schools throughout Croatia.
My main music education and training I got in Zagreb (Croatia) and Vienna (Austria). In 2020 I graduated in the discipline of the piano as 'Master in music' at the ‘Academy of Music’ in Zagreb.

I am familiar with performing the classical repertoire as well as modern 20th and 21st-century music. In 2020 I had been selected as a pianist to represent the composition of Belgian composer Gillis Sacré at a composition competition in Vienna.
In 2016 I took part in a euphony project and performed on a concert tour in Slovenia, Hungary, Austria and Croatia.

Later I further developed myself on numerous piano and chamber music masterclasses with pedagogues Ruben Dalibaltayan, Vera Vaidman, Andrea Padova, Ratko Delorko, Đuro Tikvica among others.

Between 2019 and 2022 I was connected as a professor at the ‘Ivan Matetić Ronjgov’ music school at the department on the island of Rab in Croatia.

Ruben is an international concert pianist who has performed in venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Flagey in Brussels, and the Rudolfinum in Prague. He earned his Diplôme Supérieur d'Enseignement, Diplôme Supérieur d'Exécution, and Artist Diploma from the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris, where he studied with Jean-Bernard Pommier. In addition to his work as a performing musician, he is a classical programmer at De Doelen Concertgebouw in Rotterdam and teaches pianists preparing for competitions and admissions to top conservatories.

I teach bass guitar which is my main instrument of 12 years, to all ages. I have experience mainly teaching it to beginners and intermediates. The classes are structured to cover basics of bass playing in terms of both technique and theory. One may expect to have exercises as weekly assignments. These exercises are weekly put together by me using a variety of bass method books. The weight of music theory, harmony and ear training within what we cover can be rearranged according to the needs and expectations of the student.

Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online.
