Trusted teacher: I am an enthusiastic professional violinist and teacher. I can teach you classical violin, folk songs from Greece and Middle East, as well as your favourite pop tunes and tunes of almost any other music genre! Being well classically trained, I can help you build a solid violin technique and prepare you for giving your best during important music occasions such as exams, auditions, concerts etc. Also, being member of pop - oriental bands with concerts around Belgium, France and Greece, having played with several classical and contemporary music ensembles and orchestras, as well as coming from a family of musicians, my lessons are ideal for students who want to learn to be at ease when they eventually make music with others. :) All pieces can be taught either by ear, music scores or BOTH!! Teaching you basic and/or more advanced music theory to facilitate your violin learning if you don't know yet how to read and write music, can be easily done! My personal experience with music psychology and body movement techniques for musicians have enriched my knowledge and teaching skills. Extra attention is given during the lessons to not only help you build a strong and steadfast technique and develop your music ear, but also to acquire a confident presence and attitude for when you play for others! All is being done with gentle care towards your body's physiology and feelings, and consideration of your learning style. :)) Finally, I'm at your disposal in between the lessons, answering to any questions you might have and offering you support and guidance with your new insights! :D

Trusted teacher: I am an oud teacher who teaches oud to beginners in terms of reading musical notes. Intensive training is required to raise the level in an academic manner, as well as teaching solfege until you reach the required level. Within a short period, the most important thing is that you have the oud. If it is not available, I can recommend a professional oud maker to you. If you're just starting to learn the oud and want to get to know the basics, it's not difficult and we'll help you enjoy playing and build your skills step by step. First of all, what is an oud? The oud is an ancient stringed instrument used in oriental music. It has a distinctive shape and a deep sound. It consists of a large wooden body and a short neck with strings. Ok, how do we start? 1. Oud grip: The first thing you need to learn is how to hold the oud correctly, so that you are comfortable and your hand can move easily over the strings. 2. Strings: The oud has five or six strings, and each string has a specific note. First, we'll learn how to tune the oud (adjust the strings so the notes sound correctly). 3. Basics of playing: Next, we will learn how to move the pick (the instrument you pluck the strings with) and how to play simple notes on the strings. 4. Musical note: We'll start by learning how to read musical notation in a simple way, so you can play short pieces. The topic will begin with easy notes, and then we'll progress step by step. 5. Practical application: Over time, we will start practicing famous oriental pieces such as “taqasim” or simple things from the Arab musical heritage. In this course, everything will be taught step by step so that you will understand the basics and be comfortable playing. For details, contact us via page messages.

Berin - Istanbul1336 EGP
Trusted teacher: I have been teaching private courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English for 9 years. It is my passion to prepare my students for the future with school and exam studies. When I had a chance to be a student in the Anatolian Teacher High School in Istanbul in 2008 and Boğaziçi University in 2012, my biggest goal was to be a reliable role model for my students in the future. I am very happy that I have now made this dream come true since the year I entered university. Until this time, I have taught private lessons at secondary, high school and university level to numerous students from Turkey and abroad. I still continue to give private lessons on the online platform and teach Physics at an International School in Istanbul where California Education Standards (Cognia) are adopted. It is my passion to prepare my students for the future with school and exam studies. I am currently teaching for SAT Exam Preparation. SAT Subject Tests includes Physics, Math, Chemistry and Biology. I can teach both IB and American Curriculum as well. I teach my lessons on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom, depending on the student' request. Inquiry Based Learning which I have adopted as a teaching method; it enables me to teach lessons based on inquiry and always keeping the student & teacher dialogue dynamic. I strive to progress depending on the age and level of the student. For this, I aim to explain myself, the way I study and understand my student's expectations and level. After the level has been determined, it is of great importance for me that the student knows the lesson plan and draft as well and adheres to the jointly agreed schedule. I share pdfs and documents that I have prepared before the class and use the books by Pearson, Serway, Nowicki, Sarquis and so on for University & Secondary School Level. For Middle School, I use HMH Science Modules etc. I do emphasize the importance on giving homework/assignment and return as giving ''feedforwards'' for my students. As someone in love with her job, it is my greatest motivation to direct the students to professions they can do with love.
