For who? My classes are aimed at a wide audience: children, amateurs, students, adults, professionals... If you want to learn the piano with pleasure, you've come to the right place! I adapt to my students' desires and seek to teach them the right methods to progress and gain autonomy. I am open to all musical styles (classical, contemporary music, etc.). I had the opportunity to take a music training course for people with disabilities and to work with children with dyslexia. Where? Classes take place at Studio Notturno (a 3-minute walk from Glacière M6 / 7 minutes from Gobelins M7). Schedules are flexible (daytime or evening) and can be adapted to your needs (work, exams, holidays, etc.). When? The course schedule is generally weekly, but I would be happy to teach you at a slower pace, or in one-off courses (exam preparation, etc.). Sessions are flexible and can take place during the day or in the evening. I also organize intensive courses during school or summer holidays (to be defined together). About me After completing my musical studies and obtaining my diploma, I chose to devote myself to teaching piano and musical training, with the desire to share my passion with all audiences. For several years, I have been teaching in conservatories in the Paris region. At the same time, I also give private and corporate lessons, which enriches my practice and allows me to adapt to a wide variety of profiles, in different and stimulating contexts. I am committed to welcoming all student profiles, especially those with disabilities, by adapting my methods and objectives to their specific needs. My approach is inclusive, caring, and individualized. Great importance is placed on listening, pedagogical creativity, and recognizing progress. My goal is to enable everyone to flourish through musical practice. Music should be accessible to all. Caring, patient and educational... ... This extraordinary adventure is waiting for you :) Céline, your new piano teacher Site: Studio Notturno

Trusted teacher: Hello and welcome ! My name is Charlotte, I am a singing teacher and professional opera singer. I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris at the highest level with honours and I have a Masters in Opera Singing from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, where I have won several prizes. I am the recipient of a prestigious scholarship from the Malvina and Denise Menda Foundation of the Fondation de France. I also have a BA in Art History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute. I teach the principles of vocal technique that form the basis of all singing styles: finding an ideal posture and alignment of the body and the air column and eliminating unnecessary tension; optimizing breathing and support (singing with the whole body); beauty and homogeneity of the voice in all registers (homogeneity especially in lyrical singing); clear and precise articulation in all languages. Of course, these bases adapt differently depending on the styles and offer keys to freeing the voice, and not to restricting the singer! My teaching is holistic and I take into account the whole person with great sensitivity. The voice is at the center of the body and mind, and singing unifies the two. I deeply believe in the well-being that singing brings and its power to release. My life as an artist began as a classical dancer (I was a dancer in the young dancers program at the Royal Opera House, London) and this taught me a good awareness of my body and how to transmit it to others. Singing is mastered by listening to one's body. I also practice meditation and yoga at a high level and I transmit these techniques of connection to the body and breath, and the state of relaxation that they bring. In my teaching, accuracy, solfege and precision are very important. I was first a violinist and I was a member of one of the prestigious choirs of the University of Cambridge during my degree. So I have a good ear that developed further during these trainings. Singing is above all communication and my mission is to allow everyone to express their authentic and unique voice. I am passionate about theater and the art of communicating our sincere emotions and those of the characters we play. Vocal technique gives us the means, but it is the connection to oneself and to the meaning of the music and the text that allows us to express ourselves fully and sincerely. It is a work that fascinates me as much as that of vocal technique. All the more so, the connection to emotion broadens the palette of colors of the voice, without which we can only produce beautiful sound. My classes usually last an hour. Typically, I start my classes with breathing exercises and body observation. We continue with warm-ups and vocalizations to work on technique. Then we work on the repertoire of your choice. I can also advise you on the repertoire of all styles. Looking forward to reading from you and working together!

Trusted teacher: After dedicating 14 years to mastering the guitar, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of guitar playing, encompassing both foundational techniques and advanced music theory. In these lessons, I'll be sharing the wealth of knowledge I've accumulated over this extensive period of learning. I will be covering a broad range of guitar techniques, including fingerpicking, strumming techniques, major and minor chords, power chords, barre chords, riffs, scales, finger warm-ups, practising any song of your choice, string bending, pull-offs, hammer-ons, harmonics, strumming patterns, and slides. All are provided with diagrams etc. For music theory, I will begin by covering the fundamentals, including notes, strings, and the musical 12-note chromatic scale alphabet on the guitar. As students progress, we will delve into more advanced topics such as tones, semitones, chord progressions, circle of fifths, scale formulas and chord terminology. Additionally, we will explore concepts like consonance and dissonance and pitch practice to develop relative pitch. (You have to be born with perfect pitch but you can learn relative pitch with practise!) Then advancing to jazz theory, we'll explore; jazz scale formulas, jazz chord progressions, swing techniques, major and minor 7th chords, major and minor 9th chords, dominant, augmented, half-diminished, diminished, sus2 and sus4 chords. And then jazz scales and the art of re-harmonising a song (changing the chords to jazz chords). All music theory will be intertwined with guitar practice as both can't be done without the other! One observation I've made while learning guitar through lessons is that information is often doled out incrementally, making it feel like a breadcrumb trail. Guitar knowledge and skills seem to be closely guarded and usually gatekept unless actively sought out. I strongly believe that the extensive knowledge I've acquired over 14 years of playing should be fruitfully shared in a more comprehensive and accessible manner, of course while being tailored to the pace of the students. In essence, I'm convinced that the depth of my understanding I've gained could be effectively conveyed and learnt within a two-year timeframe without including the time it takes to master the skill with practice, of course, I'd like to make it easier for people to learn the guitar and the theory behind it. I have also graduated with a distinction for my Music Performance and Production UAL Level 3 Course and a distinction in Fashion Communication which included my music playing at Central Saint Martins. I also have experience teaching guitar in London and Bristol before. The lessons will be taught in English so practising your English with me is also a plus, a foundational knowledge of English is required to take the lessons.

Trusted teacher: Hello, I am a professional cellist with a master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Passionate about teaching music and the cello, I have been teaching for many years in music schools (music ensemble XX, passion leitmotif), conservatories (replacements) and in the private sector. There is no age to start playing an instrument: my adult students show me day after day! As for children, they can also start very early at the age of 4 and a half. (A few months depending on personality and facilities) My students benefit from comprehensive teaching, whether they are beginners or very advanced, and adapted to their personality and needs. You will quickly discover: I am a very positive and encouraging person, which allows my students to progress with serenity in a comfortable environment. If necessary, I teach the basics of music theory and music theory, being able to go in-depth according to the student's interest and needs. Musical ear, concentration, physical dispositions, memory, ability to adapt, curiosity, musical personality: all these characteristics, more or less present from the start, will develop over the course of the sessions, and you will be quickly proud of your progress. My priority in teaching the cello is to establish true well-being with the instrument, both physical and mental, with patience, involvement and constant adaptation to each person's functioning. With the rigor necessary for learning any art, I teach you patience and the joy of paying attention to details. Beginners: By obtaining a healthy and comfortable technique, you will quickly create beautiful tones. Discover the secrets of this instrument with its sound and range so close to the human voice, and its benefits on the mind. You will also discover beautiful pieces of classical music (among others!) that are affordable quite quickly, depending on your investment. You can also come with the pieces that you like, and that you would like to play. This can give a good goal, additional motivation! Amateurs and advanced: if you want to go further in interpretation, or overcome technical difficulties encountered when learning pieces, or simply deepen your cello learning. Advanced: If you wish to take an entrance exam into a music school or conservatory, or obtain additional lessons for a cello exam, some musical and mental "coaching" courses can help you. I help you strengthen your self-confidence and gently repair your bad habits. You will also be able to meet others, one day if you wish, in order to create little duets
