We were quite apprehensive using an app to find the teacher and browsed the Apprentus ads out of interest mostly. Nathalie immediately stood above the others, because of her experience and being a native speaker, so we got in touch. I cannot be happier that I did and that my instinct was correct:-) She is very flexible, knowledgeable and above all, a nice person. Classes are well structured, even when we have a situation that two boys attending together are not on the same level of French, she makes it interesting for both and dynamic enough. The boys were not to keen to have online classes but after trying it with Nathalie, they are enjoying. The whole experience is very interactive through the use of Google docs and camera, of course. I started classes with Madeira in preparation for an interview to a French Medical School. While I had a fairly okay level of French already, Madeira really helped me polish my language skills and achieve the level of refinement and ease in my formal conversational skills which I needed for my interview. She was able to expertly identify what areas I needed to improve upon, and through her exercises and feedback I was able to greatly improve my oral skills. Madeira was also incredibly receptive to any requests that I had regarding things which I wanted to work on, and she went above and beyond in helping me understand technical portions of French grammar with which I have always had issues. I recently enrolled my daughter (Dutch native) in English lessons with this teacher and I must say, the experience has been fantastic.
