I believe it's important to look at the learning process holistically. I think you are the music itself. You bring all the wonderful and beautiful things about it with you. The guitar is the means of expression you've chosen, and WOW! It's definitely cool, and it's amazing that you're even taking this step and want to take it (more) seriously :) So... simply learning scales and theory isn't my approach. (although there's no way around it haha) Everything you experience and have experienced contributes to who you are and will become as a musician. It shapes your expression with and without a guitar, and above all, the way you learn. So, of course, we look at the technique and playing styles, but just as importantly, we look at what aspects of mindset and personal development contribute to the musical development. A lot happens there :) I would appreciate your trust.
