I graduated with a Master in Jazz performance and composition and a Master in Jazz instrumental pedagogy at the HEMU in Lausanne. I have gained teaching experience since 2013 through private lessons as well as lessons in two music schools. I am a musician in different groups (Traditional Jazz, Jazz-fusion, Modern Jazz (my sextet)) in France and Switzerland. I also trained in classical orchestration for two years. My lessons are aimed at beginners as well as more advanced, of all ages. We will be able to approach the technical notions of the instrument in order to better master it but also improvisation, musical theory, composition, rhythm. I try to base my pedagogy on the musical tastes of the students while making them discover, by listening or playing, other musical currents. I play clarinet, bass clarinet and saxophone and I can accompany you on the piano depending on the pieces. Please note, however, that I cannot lend you an instrument. The course can take place at my home or in my office. I can travel to your home but a travel allowance will be required. I can also teach in English and I'm used to it.

I am a Master's student and a Bachelor's graduate at the HEMU in Lausanne. I teach clarinet in several styles of music and at several levels. I supplement my lessons with an introduction to music theory to allow the student to develop their ear and their ability to understand a score. My goal is to share my passion for the clarinet and music in general :)

The clarinet is a fascinating instrument. Its woody timbre, its tessitura close to the voice offers a wide range of musical directions. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, song or world music, we will progress together to connect the song and the instrument. To develop the breath, to consolidate its supports, to feel the rhythm and to shine the melodies, that is the objective! I adapt my method according to each student but here are the central points of my educational work: - Warm up: stretching and breathing - Sound work: beak, held notes, harmonics * - Technique: ranges, transpositions * - Repertoire: Piece being learned, reading *, improvisation. * confirmed students SINGING I attach particular importance to the link between song and instrument. Singing the songs and even the scales improves the musicality, the phrasing, the accuracy to the instrument. MEMORY As much as possible, I ask to memorize the pieces. Knowing how to sing a song before playing it is for me the best way to integrate it.

Hello! I am a professional music educator with 16 years of experience dedicated to making music an indispensable part of life rather than just a lesson. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 1,000 students individually, guiding hundreds of them to successfully enter Conservatories and Fine Arts High Schools. 🏆 My philosophy is simple: Music is loved first, then learned. I prioritize building a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Whether you want to master the Piano, Violin, Guitar, or Oud, I offer a holistic approach that combines technical skill, ear training, and rhythm development. I don’t believe in rote memorization. My teaching system is based on logic and understanding the "mathematics" of music. By simplifying complex music theory and "Makam" knowledge into practical and engaging methods, I ensure my students reach a stage-ready level in as little as one year. 🎼 In my online studio, I provide a high-quality learning experience using multi-camera angles and professional sound setups that rival face-to-face lessons. Whether you are a preschooler, a young aspiring artist, or an adult beginner, I create personalized, goal-oriented roadmaps to help you reach your musical dreams. 🌍 Let’s start this journey together and build a solid foundation that lasts a lifetime

Clarinet lessons at all levels: from absolute beginners to advanced players. For me as a teacher it is very important to start from the wishes, needs and competences of the student himself. You can follow lessons via webcam, or at your home near the Ghent - Kortrijk region. If you don't have an instrument available, you can rent one from me. This offer is limited, so please inquire if you're interested. Regarding music and other material: that is taken by me. Hoi!
