📐 Customised math tutoring: explained calmly, without stressTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Are you drowning in countless formulas? Is your head starting to explode with equations and graphs? Don't panic! Math doesn't have to be a stumbling block. With the right explanation and a calm approach, it often becomes much clearer. Together, we'll tackle it step by step, at your pace. For whom? - Students from primary and secondary education - Children and young people preparing for exams or tests - Anyone who wants to give mathematics a second chance, including adults What can you expect? - I explain the often complicated mathematical language in clear, human language - Focus on insight, not just learning tricks and formulas by heart - Exercises that we tackle together - Space for questions, repetition and building self-confidence I can also prepare exercises and even complete practice exams myself. About me I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Data Science/Analytics at the University of Antwerp. In high school, I had seven hours of math a week and always passed my exams with high marks. I've been happily tutoring students of various levels for several years now. I'm analytical, but also calm, patient, and good at sensing exactly where things are going wrong. Practical: - 1-on-1 lessons, online, at my place or at yours (if you don't live too far away) - We will go through your material together or I will provide my own material - Your own pace and approach, completely tailored to you I have already successfully guided students with: - Mathematics in secondary education: from the 1st to the 6th year, for various fields of study and schools, including Latin at Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat, Economics-Mathematics at KA Schoten, and Humanities at Annuntia. - Arithmetic in primary education: pupils in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades, including mental arithmetic, written calculation, and other arithmetic skills. - Mathematics in the Electromechanics program at AP University of Applied Sciences. Feel free to send me a message with your questions or concerns, and we'll discuss how I can best support you.

My approach to teaching is based on personalisation, ensuring that each student receives lessons tailored to their specific needs and learning style. To promote active participation and optimal learning outcomes, lessons are designed to be structured, interactive and engaging. This combination of face-to-face and participatory learning methods ensures that students fully understand and retain the material. In addition to these active learning strategies, I also use visual aids and illustrations in my lessons. These visual aids serve to reinforce key concepts and deepen the student's understanding of the material, forming a deeper, more holistic understanding of the topic. Once the theory has been covered, I focus not only on the exercises included in the course curriculum, but also on additional, optional exercises designed to provide students with a more complete understanding of the material. These additional exercises are optional, but highly recommended, as they provide students with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subject. In conclusion, my approach to teaching is focused on providing students with a personalized and engaging learning experience that promotes active participation and deep understanding. This approach allows students to develop a thorough understanding of the subject and reach their full potential.

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach one-to-one Maths and Physics to GCSE, A-Level and university students, online and in person around Birmingham. I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Chester, where I now teach and assess postgraduate students as a visiting lecturer. Alongside that I've been tutoring privately for several years, across GCSE, A-Level and first-year university modules. I've published two international conference papers, so the maths I teach isn't something I learned once and repeat from a textbook. I use it. What I cover: GCSE Maths and Physics, all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics University Maths and engineering modules for science and engineering students Individual topics including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics and logic How I teach: Every student starts in a different place, so the first thing I do is find out what they actually understand rather than what the syllabus assumes they should. From there I break difficult ideas into small steps, work through plenty of examples, and set focused practice between sessions. I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most. I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise. Term has just started, which is the best point in the year to build a routine before mocks in November and December. If your child is beginning Year 11 or Year 13, or retaking GCSE Maths this November, putting support in place now makes a real difference by the time the real papers arrive.

Maths --- Tutoring for Middle/High School Level, French and AEFE CurriculumTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Maths --- Tutoring for Middle/High School Level, French and AEFE CurriculumTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Videoconference classes for students in grades 6, 5, 4 and 3 of the French program, both in France and in the network of French schools abroad. In middle school, difficulties in math rarely stem from the current chapter. They almost always originate from a foundation established two or three years earlier: fractions, proportionality, algebraic expressions. As long as these concepts aren't revisited, each new chapter exacerbates the situation. My work begins by identifying this missing foundation. Master's degree in Operations Research (applied mathematics), more than five years of private tutoring for students in the AEFE and Mission laïque networks, in both public and private institutions. What we are working on Numbers, fractions, algebraic expressions, equations Proportionality, percentages, statistics Plane geometry, theorems of Thales and Pythagoras, transformations Preparation for the patent Working method: read a problem statement, choose an approach, check a result The process Initial assessment during the first sessions, a catch-up plan, followed by a regular weekly schedule. I align with the classroom teacher's approach and provide exercises between sessions. A monthly written progress report is available for parents who wish to receive it. I also offer pre-start preparation sessions, to get a head start on the year rather than being late. Courses in French, English or Arabic.

Maths tutor | Exam & test preparation | Effective method | 15 years of experienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Maths tutor | Exam & test preparation | Effective method | 15 years of experienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

An exam is coming up and your child doesn't know where to start? Is the Baccalaureate or Brevet exam approaching and they lack method or confidence? He knows the material but loses his composure when faced with an exercise? He makes repetitive mistakes despite his revisions? He doesn't know how to organize his revision? There isn't enough time to review all the chapters? Or does he simply want to prepare himself seriously to achieve better results? I can help him organize his work, target his difficulties and train effectively. I am a mathematics teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and hold a Master's degree in mathematics. I tutor middle and high school students, particularly in the French and Moroccan curricula. 🎯 Preparation tailored to the student's objective Good preparation is not just about doing a lot of exercises. First, we need to identify: • concepts that are not mastered; • errors that recur regularly; • methods that the student does not yet know how to use; • the priority chapters; • the actual level of preparation. Next, we implement a targeted and progressive approach. 📝 Preparation for tests and exams Depending on the level and objective, we can work on: • review of essential concepts; • classic exercises and more complex exercises; • the exam topics; • problems requiring multiple steps of reasoning; • the problem-solving methodology; • drafting the solutions; • time management; • the analysis and correction of errors; • the strategies to use when faced with different types of exercises. For the Brevet or the Baccalaureate, we can also work from past exam papers to gradually familiarize the student with the exam format. 🔎 A method based on errors An error is not simply something to be corrected. It allows us to understand what is not yet mastered. During the sessions, we therefore analyze the errors to determine their origin, then we repeat the method until the student is able to solve a similar exercise independently. Understand → Practice → Identify errors → Correct → Repeat → Master 💻 Interactive online courses The classes are held remotely using Google Meet and an interactive whiteboard. The student works directly with me during the session. It's not simply a matter of looking at a solution: they must search, explain their reasoning and participate actively. I can also send him screenshots of the work done during the session to facilitate revisions. 🏆 15 years of experience I have worked with many students of varying levels and difficulties. For my final year students who were tutored in mathematics, I achieved a 100% success rate in the Baccalaureate, with 75% obtaining a distinction of "Bien" or "Très Bien". This experience allows me to adapt the work to the available time and the actual level of the student, especially when an exam is approaching. 👨‍🎓 For which students? • College • High school • Second • First • Final year • Preparation for the Brevet exam • Preparation for the Baccalaureate • Preparation for inspections • Students needing a refresher course before an exam The French and Moroccan programs are taken into account. 📩 An exam is coming up? In your message, please tell me: • the student's level; • the type of examination or test; • the date; • the relevant chapters; • the main difficulties encountered. This will allow me to determine priorities and propose work that is adapted to the time available. The goal is to prepare the student effectively, to correct their priority difficulties and to enable them to approach their exam with more method and confidence.

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.

Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.

Ghous is a very kind and pleasant teacher. He explains everything clearly and is always responsive and supportive. He adapts to the student’s pace and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling and learning preferences. He has a strong command of Electrical Engineering topics and is able to explain even complex concepts in a simple and understandable way. Ghous is also very helpful with assignments, even when they are in a different language, which shows both his deep subject knowledge and his adaptability. I’m very satisfied with his lessons and would definitely recommend him to others.
