About me I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Data Science/Analytics at the University of Antwerp. In high school, I had seven hours of math a week and always passed my exams with high marks. I've been happily tutoring students of various levels for several years now. I'm analytical, but also calm, patient, and good at sensing exactly where things are going wrong. I teach one-to-one Maths and Physics to GCSE, A-Level and university students, online and in person around Birmingham. I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Chester, where I now teach and assess postgraduate students as a visiting lecturer. Alongside that I've been tutoring privately for several years, across GCSE, A-Level and first-year university modules. I've published two international conference papers, so the maths I teach isn't something I learned once and repeat from a textbook. I use it. What I cover: GCSE Maths and Physics, all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics University Maths and engineering modules for science and engineering students Individual topics including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics and logic How I teach: Every student starts in a different place, so the first thing I do is find out what they actually understand rather than what the syllabus assumes they should. From there I break difficult ideas into small steps, work through plenty of examples, and set focused practice between sessions. I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most. I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise. Term has just started, which is the best point in the year to build a routine before mocks in November and December. If your child is beginning Year 11 or Year 13, or retaking GCSE Maths this November, putting support in place now makes a real difference by the time the real papers arrive.

Videoconference classes for students in grades 6, 5, 4 and 3 of the French program, both in France and in the network of French schools abroad. In middle school, difficulties in math rarely stem from the current chapter. They almost always originate from a foundation established two or three years earlier: fractions, proportionality, algebraic expressions. As long as these concepts aren't revisited, each new chapter exacerbates the situation. My work begins by identifying this missing foundation. I can help him organize his work, target his difficulties and train effectively. I am a mathematics teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and hold a Master's degree in mathematics. I tutor middle and high school students, particularly in the French and Moroccan curricula. 🎯 Preparation tailored to the student's objective Good preparation is not just about doing a lot of exercises. First, we need to identify: • concepts that are not mastered; • errors that recur regularly; • methods that the student does not yet know how to use; • the priority chapters; • the actual level of preparation. During the sessions, we therefore analyze the errors to determine their origin, then we repeat the method until the student is able to solve a similar exercise independently. Understand → Practice → Identify errors → Correct → Repeat → Master 💻 Interactive online courses The classes are held remotely using Google Meet and an interactive whiteboard. The student works directly with me during the session. It's not simply a matter of looking at a solution: they must search, explain their reasoning and participate actively. I can also send him screenshots of the work done during the session to facilitate revisions. 🏆 15 years of experience I have worked with many students of varying levels and difficulties. For my final year students who were tutored in mathematics, I achieved a 100% success rate in the Baccalaureate, with 75% obtaining a distinction of "Bien" or "Très Bien".
