About Me

Hello, I am MIke, music composer and pianist living in Berlin.
I gained a diploma in piano, harpsichord and composition at Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice, and later a diploma for orchestra conducting at Accademia Chigiana in Siena. I further developed the study of classical composition with the internationally reknowned composers and music pedagogues M° Wolfango Dalla Vecchia and M° Bruno Coltro.

Throughout the years I have developed piano skills with which I can play all sorts of compositions by ear as well as improvise variations based on the main structure of a piece. In this course I will show you the practical and theoretical basics to improvise as well as learn pieces on the piano without note sheets. It will not be a "classical music lesson" although I will reference classical music and talk about music theory, music history and the physics of sound a lot. It won't have a "syllabus" either on the basis that every person needs different sets of skills to improve upon.
