This class trains you to speak the Qatari Dialect of the Arabic language, applying up to date strategies and trends in the world language classroom. The course is fun, engaging and interactive. It is designed for busy professionals who wish to learn the language while juggling their professional and social lives. It teaches the 350 core words of the Arabic language (these make up around 70 to 80% of spoken language), and the present tense and the past tense conjugation patterns. By the end of the class you will be able to express yourself in Arabic at a low intermediate level. It requires 30 - 40 hours of tuition.

About Me

I am a qualified and experienced tutor in the field of language education with a focus on Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (TASOL).

My teaching is evidence based education and follow international standards. I have experienced with many methods until I found the most efficient way to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. Most of what I do are methods adopted from the philosophy of Chomsky, the research of Stephen Krashen, and the method of Beniko Mason.

I have taught hundreds of people from all walks of life, and many in one-on-one sessions settings, walking them through the language from scratch to competency. At the same time I love to learn new languages, so I can empathize with those I am teaching. I understand how it it.

I have a Bachelor degree in Arts and Education from Qatar University, where I studied Linguistics, Language Acquisition, and Teaching Foreign Languages
I also have a Masters degree in Arts from University College London (UCL Global University - Qatar) studying Library and Information Studies
I did many teacher training courses to learn how to teach Arabic to speakers of other languages, including an advanced certificate in TASOL from TESOL Canada.
