Trusted teacher: I am a violin teacher with 15 years of teaching experience based in Maastricht and I offer fun and productive lessons to people of all kind of ages and levels in my violin studio in Scharn. My aim is to help my students improve their technique and musicality, as well as keep them motivated. For optimal development, I organize frequent lessons with the piano accompanist as well as a two class concerts per year in various locations around Maastricht, where everybody is welcome. Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand. My teaching method includes a very large list of repertoire, ranging from ABRSM, Trinity and Suzuki methods to standard violin repertoire. Both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. Ana was very quick to respond to my first message and very friendly. Speaks English well which is great for me! We arranged our first lesson easily, and as a total beginner, she advised me on where I could hire a violin. Our first lesson was great, she was very patient and explained the basics well. Lesson times can be flexible which helps me since I work shifts and cannot commit to the same time each week. I would recommend Ana to anyone wanting to learn violin.

I have been working with Natalia for quite a while now and I can say every class with her is enlightening, fun, and most importantly super helpful. My 11 old daughter Sasha really likes to study math with Kevin, because he knows a lot of new things, that she didn't know and it's always interesting to work with him. Kevin and Sasha speak in German which is very important for us, as Sasha is preparing for the Swiss gymnasium. Our main goal to be ready for gymnasium math exam and we think that Kevin fits well for it.
