Trusted teacher: French teacher and native Frenchwoman passionate about her job. I have worked in all the structures where French is taught. I have worked with various audiences ranging from children to adults. I have worked in a university environment, in college-high school, in associations, in training centers, in language centers, in the military environment and abroad. All these experiences have allowed me to develop skills and know-how that I pass on with devotion to my learners. This job is not only based on the transmission of knowledge but on the affect and the human. I have worked with students of all ages, from children to adults. I have often found that the student can be blocked by factors such as: - lack of self-confidence - poor pedagogy on the part of the teacher which involves stress and a blockage in learning. - Methods: action-oriented and communicative. - Courses adapted according to the needs of the learner. - I am benevolent and dynamic. I do not hesitate to repeat and come back to points that have not been understood. -The lessons are always accompanied by activities and exercises. - Conversation lessons: accent, vocabulary, debate, - Help with writing (argued paragraph, summary of documents, etc.) - Courses in French culture and literature. - DELF-DALF certification preparation - French for specific objectives, French for business, French as a language of integration. The courses are aimed at level A0 to level C2. The methodology and the dynamics of the course is adapted according to the learner. I know how to target the difficulties and I will help you overcome them. I am very pedagogue and benevolent, I adapt to your rhythm and I will accompany you until the end towards success!

Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Selin and I am here to give Turkish lessons as a local speaker with the methods that I determine for one's needs for learning. It will be nice to spend time together! I focus on language acquisition techniques for foreigners and refer to lectures as meeting rather than 'lecture'. I adopt an existential educational model because each individual's tendencies and interests to learn the language differ. I adopt Chomsky's language acquisition philosophy based on the idea that all languages can be acquired without an intermediary language. (Of course, English support is provided at the beginning.) 1.) Which Materials Do I Use in My Turkish Language Education? My course materials consist of textbooks in PDF format and audio materials. In addition, I am creating a lecture area on Microsoft's free application Onenote. I also prepare games such as 'taboo' as material according to the needs. In my sessions, I do many activities to help people gain speaking, reading, and listening skills at the same time. 2.) How Do The Lessons Go? I teach in person or online through the application called "Zoom". I prefer individual meetings, but sometimes I can include local speakers. I am of the opinion that learning by having fun, talking, and experiencing is the most permanent one. For this reason, it is very important for me to have fun and talk about current examples in our daily life. 3.) Where Did I Get My Language Teaching Education? From a prestigious university in Turkey (Istanbul University) I received the "Certificate of Teaching Turkish for Foreigners" in 2020. More About Me I care about getting to know new people and thus building new relationships. I like to learn, I like to teach. So, I travel to gain learning and teaching experience. I have traveled to many cities in Europe and would like to travel more in the future. I have been involved in theater and I like to speak my language in a good diction. I like to read and vocalize books. My personal interests are contemporary art and philosophy. I love artistic production (painting and collage). Maybe we'll talk about all this when we meet, huh? And you can tell me about your interests :)

Trusted teacher: Irregular verbs can be daunting at first. Although the best way to learn them is to use them often, memorizing is also part of the process. What are the best ways to get familiar with them? Step 1: Look up the list. Now you have the BIG SCARY LIST at your disposal. It's somewhere there on your desktop or it's printed on your desk. Step 2: Ask yourself why you need to know the list. The teacher said so. Irregular verbs are verbs that are rebellious and are always misbehaving. They refuse to abide by the rules of grammar unlike their siblings.. the regular verbs which receive -ed for both Past Tense and Past Participle. You need to get used to their forms so that you understand the mythical creature with 12 heads ( Tenses). The list is here as your armour. I put my armour on.. (Unstoppable by Sia) Short Infinitive go Past Tense went Past Participle gone To go (baddie) like liked liked To like (conformist) learn learned/ learnt (British) learned/ learnt (British) To learn (2-faced *inserting insult* ) Step 3: Give up at the sight of the numerous verbs and listen to Sia. Or even better play this guy's song on Youtube; it's a masterpiece: 6 hours Irregular verbs song – Learn 80 common Irregular Verbs in one song. Step 4: Now that the whole house is cleaned and you know how to rap in five languages, you can come back to irregular verbs. On a second look, you notice that they follow patterns too. There are plenty of groups and forums that have the same concerns as you do. You can follow their tricks or come up with yours. Gangs of Irregular Verbs: 1. Verbs that remain the same in the present, past and past participle. ( identical form) 2. Verbs that are the same in the past forms, but not the present. (2 identical forms in the past) 3. Verbs that end in -en in the past participle. Step 5: Now that you have dissected the Big Scary List, it looks ten times smaller. You can use them in sentences and create short stories which have been proved to be more efficient mnemonics than lists. Step 6: Have fun and enjoy learning while learning how to learn. Step 7: Follow my example and take a break too! Cheers!

Learning Turkish in fun meetings with a certified teacher (Üsküdar)

Selin started to teach me turkish a year ago. We are doing classes online. She uses a great combination of different online programs, which makes the lessons very interactive. She bases her classes on the Chomsky method, which means that she mainly speaks turkisch, even if she is completely fluent in english. It might be a little bit challenging in the beginning. However, it is the best way to achieve quickly good results. I would say she is made to be a teacher, she has all the qualities for it: patience, structure, professionality, love for her language, excellent diction and an interest for ethymology, humour, creativity, and empathy. She is very open minded and respectful and has also experiences in learning languages (english, french and italien at least). She is teaching me turkisch since a year now, twice a week. After one year, - I can understand small talk conversation from turkisch people in Berlin - I can have a one hour conversation on a basic level only in turkish - I know a little bit more about the complex and fascinating turkish culture. I can warmly recommend her to anyone who wants to achieve solid but quick results and have a good time with a fascinating personality.
