Hello, my name is Timothée. I am currently an exchange student at Dorset College. I teach French in Dublin. After graduating with honours in mathematics and physics-chemistry, I did a degree in mathematics and then went on to business school. It was during my studies that I started giving private lessons in maths and French to English students in Paris. In Paris I gave lessons to more than 5 students of all levels. I can help with all kinds of needs and objectives, however wide-ranging and different they may be! From those with more or less profound difficulties in the subject, to those aiming for perfection and excellence, to those with more general concerns about their school results. As far as methodology is concerned, the lessons take place as follows: first we go over the course (essential for success in the exercises), we work together on the points that have not been understood and then we do exercises according to the needs of the student (of increasing difficulty). The aim is to give students back their confidence, and that requires an IMPARABLE grasp of the course! Generally, I recite the lesson and what has been covered in the previous lesson at the beginning of each class, which allows me to see what has been retained and what has been forgotten/misunderstood. Once the student understands and remembers the lesson, progress is considerable and the student regains self-confidence, enabling them to succeed in the exercises. I offer a variety of exercises (written and oral comprehension and written and oral expression). I try to teach French in a more fun way than in normal lessons so that students want to learn the language. Finally, I attach great importance to the human aspect, which is why I communicate and exchange a lot with my students and their parents after class and outside of class time. I'm available to my students at any time during the year.

Trusted teacher: ¡Hola! I'm Mar, from Seville (south Spain). I'm a qualified Spanish teacher settle in Dublin, Ireland. I studied Hispanic Philology, a degree that goes deeply into the Spanish language, its evolution from Latin and Ancient Greek studying it through linguistic theories and through literature productions. I came to Ireland excited to teach Spanish as a foreign language. I started this journey back in Seville, where I worked as a teacher of languages, literature and history and also volunteering in a university program in which I taught Spanish to refugees coming from different contexts. Since September, I've been working in a secondary school in Blackrock in the role of Spanish teacher assistant, I have plenty of students who joined my 1-to-1 private classes online or presencial and recently I got hired by the Instituto Cervantes of Dublin, a Hispanic cultural center. I am preparing students for their Leaving Cert and also for the DELE exam, others are just interested in practical conversation or in improving their expression or comprehension. If you are interested in my classes, you should know that I'm a very committed teacher, I adapt my classes to my students needs and goals in order to provide them quality work during our lessons using my own materials. I would be happy to help you get confidence with Spanish, no matter your level. I do online classes, lessons at my place in city center and also home tutoring. Contact me if you are ready to start lessons with me. Muchas gracias :)
