Hi, I’m Borna, a professional pianist, composer, and educator with a deep passion for music. I have been playing piano for most of my life, exploring everything from jazz and classical to modern styles. I hold a Master’s degree in Jazz Piano from the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and a Bachelor’s degree from the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt, Austria. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing and collaborating with incredible musicians across Europe and beyond.

I am a professional jazz pianist, producer, composer, and educator with international experience in jazz and popular music.
With years of teaching experience, I offer personalized piano lessons tailored to all levels—whether you’re a beginner or an advanced musician looking to refine your technique, improvisation skills, or music theory knowledge. Kärntner Landeskonservatorium, Klagenfurt, Austria (studied under Robert Bargad).

Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Austria (studied under Oliver Kent).

Experience / Qualifications

Collaborated with the Tonkünstler Orchestra, JM Jazz World Orchestra, and artists such as Tim Armacost, John Fedchock, and Klemens Marktl. Active in the Croatian music scene, performing in various projects and collaborating with prominent musicians such as Borna Šercar's Jazziana Croatica, Ante Gelo, Lana Janjanin, and Jan DalMotion. Leads his own band, Borna Pehar 4tet, with whom he released the debut album.

I offer private music theory tutoring lessons to students of beginner level of different ages Depending on the student's final goal we adjust the knowledge and skills that we focus on with the student. I mostly focus on classical music theory, but can also provide an introduction to jazz and pop music theory.

Hello and welcome to my music studio! It is absolutely fabulous that you are interested in music, and I hope you have lots and lots of fun with it! However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in!
This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano.
In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP!
Lessons can be in English or Dutch.

So who am I?
In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege.
On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

Hello! My name is Matei, I am 21 years old, I have been studying guitar for over a decade and I have 5 years of experience in the teaching domain. I am currently studying jazz at the Jam Music Lab conservatory in Vienna. I have studied classical guitar for 5 years, electric guitar for another 5 years, and jazz guitar for 3 years.

I can teach you music theory concepts ranging from fundamentals like chords, intervals, scales, and arpeggios to the more advanced: circle of fifths, modes, tensions, and triads. Regarding the technical aspect of guitar playing, I can create a good practice routine for the improvement of different styles of playing such as alternate picking, fingerpicking, legato, taping, hybrid picking, economy picking, etc.
Although these concepts may sound frightening at first, I can help you understand them more easily.

The lessons are thought to be suitable for beginners who never picked up a guitar before, intermediate players who know some songs and fundamentals but don't know what to do next, and advanced players who want to deepen their skills.

I can also help you build a good foundation for improvising over any tune you like, help you master composition, and teach you music-making and recording programs such as Reaper, to be able to start your solo projects.

I will provide my personal insights regarding what I think you should improve, but I can also just help you learn something specific like a song you want to play.

Hello, my name is Pia and I'm a flautist. :) I started learning the flute at the age of 8. I loved it right away, so after music school, I continued my studies at the conservatory in Maribor (Slovenia). I then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. In 2024, I completed my bachelor's degree at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. There, I earned a degree in concert performance and a degree in instrumental pedagogy.
During my studies, I also completed a specialization course in early music, majoring in transverse flute. Therefore, I also offer lessons for beginners on this beautiful baroque instrument.
During my studies, I had several private students with whom I explored the sounds of the flute and various genres (classical, pop, jazz, folk music, improvisation, etc.). My lessons are relaxed and communicative, full of collaborative music-making.
Classes can also take place online.

Beginners are just as welcome as those who want to deepen their knowledge or start playing the flute again after some time! :)
