Hello!
I'm a qualified maths teacher, with decades of experience and currently teach part-time in a fabulous sixth form college. I'm also a mum of three teenagers, so know what this life-stage can throw at you. My eldest is now at uni studying medicine; my middle one is at college and my youngest has yet to choose what GCSEs to take.
I mark for a major exam board and my resources have been distributed by them in their shared directory. I particularly enjoy working with students facing SEN or EAL (English as an Additional Language) challenges.
We live on the edge of the New Forest, on the UK's South Coast and have two cats, Pebble and Pepper.

I qualified in 1998, and have been teaching and tutoring in some capacity ever since. I have spent most of my teaching time in recent years teaching A-Level maths & further maths. I am a qualified SENCO and am currently completing an MA in Teaching & Learning.

Tutoring is a great way to ensure you get extra help or even get ahead in school subjects. In larger classes it may be that there is not enough one-on-one time needed to solidify learned material. The benefits of tutoring also include being more comfortable to admit if some learned material is unclear and needs more time and focus. I have 4 years experience as an academic tutor and many more years working with children with a variety of learning styles. I will dedicate my time and effort to improving student understanding and academic performance.
