Music Theory made simple! (ABRSM,

Music Theory can be daunting, or even boring. With over a decade of professional experience as a teacher, copyist/arranger, performer & composer, I can teach you or your child Music Theory in a bitesize, friendly way.
This class would be ideal for those who are:
- studying for any theory exams with ABRSM or Rockschool/Trinity, from Grade 1 all the way up to Grade 8.
- applying to a college/university degree programme where they might need to brush up on their theory knowledge or qualification
- an enthusiastic or gifted musician in practice, who wants to contextualise and bolster their general understanding with the 'whys'/'hows' of music, and not just the 'whats'.
This class would be ideal for those who are:

Informations supplémentaires
You'll need a sharpened HB pencil. If you are already working towards a graded exam, you'll need to purchase the relevant workbook (I can provide purchase links if you need, or recommendations as to what grade to study for).

I am a friendly, solid, inspiring, patient, real-world music teacher, with over a decade's professional experience as a performer, composer, educator and producer.
It's easy enough to find a music tutor, but genuine insight is much harder to come across - over the years, I've seen it all, and I want to use my experience to help you or your child!
APPROACH
Creating a nice atmosphere is really important to me. I'd love to know more about your goals and what excites you - this might be preparing for an exam, or just learning for your own reasons. Both are valid, and I can help!

- Professional musician for over a decade, most notably touring as a guitarist with US Artists Theo Katzman and May Erlewine, as well as a Fleetwood Mac tribute show.
- Taught 1-on-1 and ensemble lessons both privately and in schools, with a wiiiiide range of ability levels.
- I produce and release my own original music with 17k monthly listeners.
- Have worked as a session guitarist on a huge variety of genres (I can help you with pretty much any kind of music you can think of, but I'll be open and upfront with you if I feel my expertise doesn't match what you want. I'll be sorry to disappoint you that my, say, Bulgarian Folk knowledge isn't too hot...)
- Have composed/arranged music for national TV ad campaigns (TUI, Redbull and Vodafone IE) and I have conducted an orchestral session for a BBC documentary.
- Taught 1-on-1 and ensemble lessons both privately and in schools, with a wiiiiide range of ability levels.

Anything and everything in between is totally valid and worth exploring!

- Organising the fretboard, rhythm, inspiration, what to practice (at any level)

- Blocks/worries you might have about any aspect of music, or a kind of music coaching role (I'm not a licensed therapist but I'm here for it!)
