About Me

I have a passion for languages. Since I have also gone through the process of learning different ones I know that it can become a challenge, but it can also be done in a fun, dynamic and enriching way for those learning the language and those teaching it.
My past experiences as a tutor have all been very rewarding. I like organizing the leasons in a way where the person learning has an active and participatory role, where they are challenged to work hard but also enjoy themselves, which is the most important.

Education

I have a Bachelors degree in Translating and Interpreting, as well as a Bacherlor's Degree in International Relations. I have aslo had the chance to spent a year in Australia doing my exhcange year.
Currently I am doing my Master's Degree in International Development Studies.

Hi, I'm Leyi. Born and grow up in mainland China, but I have been moving around the world. I have been teaching Mandarin for six years, and I started teaching Mandarin Chinese when I was in high school to kindergarteners/grade-school students/adults in the US. I am chatty, effective, and patient, so most of my students like me (or I think so? hahaha).
