I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. Even though I'm married to a US citizen and have been speaking English at home and work for years, I felt I was no longer improving until I started regular lessons with Tom. The lessons are incredibly helpful. I am very much interested in improving my grasp of idiom and usage. Tom is very good at finding my mistakes and helping me to improve my English.
