Physics & Maths Lessons! - 5 Years Experience with Belgian/EU Baccalaureate, IB, BSB, CCVX, University Applications & Learning DisabilitiesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Passionate & empathetic teacher. I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured at the time as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have 5 years of experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds both in a homework schools as well as via private teaching. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life. Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! My lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

PhD in Economics (ULB & Berkeley), 8 years of university teaching — mathematics, statistics, economicsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My courses are aimed at upper secondary, bachelor's and master's students who are studying economics, management, business engineering, political science or social sciences, and who are experiencing difficulties in quantitative subjects. Specifically, I will assist you with: — prepare for a specific exam (statistics, econometrics, mathematics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, financial mathematics) by reviewing the material in a structured way and working on targeted exercises; — to catch up on gaps in your basic knowledge that are blocking your progress in a more advanced course; — write your final year dissertation: choice of methodology, data processing, document structure, critical review. Each program begins with an initial session during which we precisely identify your obstacles and define together a realistic work plan—estimated number of sessions, priorities, deadlines. This prevents you from paying for unintended hours. Lessons take place at my home in Saint-Gilles, or online via Zoom, depending on your preference. Evening and weekend availability. Lessons are offered in French, Italian, or English.

Mathematics for SAT MATH, School math, and University MathTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics for SAT MATH, School math, and University MathTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics can often feel complex and overwhelming, but with the right approach, it becomes much more manageable and even enjoyable. My goal as a tutor is to help students not only understand the material, but also find the learning method that works best for them. I work with students at school level, SAT level, and university level, supporting them in building a strong foundation and progressing confidently through their subjects. My teaching approach begins with identifying each student’s gaps in understanding. I then provide clear explanations using simple language, structured steps, and relatable examples. Once the concept is understood, I guide students through practice, allowing them to apply what they’ve learned and develop real confidence in problem-solving. Many of my students see improvement within a few lessons. I also create personalized exercises tailored to each student, helping reinforce knowledge and target specific weaknesses. Beyond improving grades, I focus on helping students: • Gain confidence in mathematics • Develop logical and structured thinking • Learn how to approach problems effectively Having worked with students from diverse backgrounds and levels, I adapt my teaching style to each individual, ensuring that every student feels supported and motivated. My aim is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them better understand how they learn and approach challenges with confidence.

Online or in person Maths tuition. Experienced, personable and patient English speaker tutor.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, I’m Ross, an analyst and policy advisor for the UK civil service, currently on a yearlong career break. I’ve been a maths tutor on and off since I was a university student. I’m offering virtual tuition and I’m very flexible with which days for the week and time of day. I have a BSc in Economics and A Level Mathematics and have experience as a teaching assistant at a Secondary School, supporting KS3 and GCSE students and specifically supporting neurodiverse students. I have been working in analysis, applying mathematics and economic skills for 8 years since graduating. I have very positive 1:1 tuition experience with students at KS3 and GCSE level. I have supported students who struggle with mathematics and need support navigating basics, as well as supporting students who are looking to stretch and excel, aiming for the highest grades. My approach is very flexible and patient. I am happy to be led by the student’s needs, working alongside their school curriculum, reviewing work and supporting with homework. I’m equally happy preparing work and exercises based on my assessment of their needs. I have experience tutoring maths, however my academic experience with economics and geography means I’m more than happy and capable supporting these subject including at A Level standard. Also happy to provide examination practice for 11+ and applications for University and navigating the UCAS process. I am happy also to provide career advice and share my public sector experience to now. Please enquire if there are specific subjects/processes you are looking for support with.

After only a few lessons with Jeremy, I can say that he helped me progress more than I was able to achieve in 2 years trying to learn the bass through Youtube videos… He helped with the theoretical aspects as well as with my playing technique. He is very methodical and adapts to your needs and requests, and he also provided me with homework and very helpful tips and practice exercices. Highly recommended!

Alba is lovely and a great teacher. She clearly knows what she’s doing and pays attention to details. I feel like I am in great hands!

We were very satisfied with the math lessons. My daughter enjoyed the lesson, and the teaching was excellent. Thank you!
