MÉTHODOLOGIE:
Le plus important pour moi est de connaître les besoins et les intérêts de mes élèves. J'essaie de rendre le cours aussi complet et complet que possible, en prêtant attention à tous les détails. Au VIOLON (au départ)
Je passe en revue la manière de tenir l'instrument et l'archet, en réalisant non seulement la technique de l'instrument mais aussi en recherchant le confort et la facilité. Au fur et à mesure que nous avançons, nous apprenons à jouer différents rythmes avec l'archet ; Nous effectuons des changements de cordes jusqu'à ce que nous soyons prêts à introduire petit à petit les doigts de la main gauche ; De cette manière, nous posons les bases de la technique du violon pour commencer à jouer des chansons simples dont la difficulté augmentera progressivement au fur et à mesure que l'élève progresse. De même en PIANO, nous révisons la manière de s'asseoir, la position des mains sur le clavier, le mouvement des doigts et des bras, ainsi que le travail sur la technique pianistique et le répertoire. Les cours comprennent la théorie musicale, le solfège, la formation de l'oreille, l'intonation et l'harmonie.

Doté d'un grand talent en lecture à vue, j'ai souvent constaté combien ce don est précieux et agréable. Après plus de dix ans d'enseignement auprès d'élèves de niveaux et d'aspirations variés, j'ai observé un point commun : quels que soient leurs objectifs, tous étaient désireux d'améliorer leur capacité à lire et à interpréter des musiques nouvelles et inconnues.

Je développe actuellement une approche multidimensionnelle destinée à aider les élèves à comprendre une composition au premier coup d'œil. Cette méthode combine la reconnaissance de formes spécifiques et la cartographie structurelle de la partition, ancrées dans une compréhension fondamentale du rythme, de la hauteur et de l'harmonie, ainsi que des stratégies de pratique et de mémorisation hautement efficaces, adaptées aux besoins et aux difficultés techniques de chaque élève.

Depuis plus de dix ans, j'enseigne à des élèves de tous âges et de tous niveaux. En plus des cours réguliers, je propose des concerts lors du concert annuel de la classe, ainsi qu'une préparation ciblée aux examens de piano de l'ABRSM.

Je suis pianiste et possède une vaste expérience de concert sur les scènes internationales. J'ai remporté le premier prix de plus de 30 concours internationaux de piano en Europe et aux États-Unis. Je suis titulaire d'un master et de quatre diplômes de troisième cycle (piano et musique de chambre) du Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student.

My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Je suis très fière d'être professeure de piano, car le 11 janvier 2026, quatre de mes jeunes élèves ont été récompensés par le prestigieux concours américain « The Royal Foundation » et invités à se produire lors d'un gala au Carnegie Hall à New York ! De plus, ces jeunes ont été conviés au festival de la Juilliard School, avec des masterclasses et des cours ; une chance et une expérience formidables que je souhaite à tous les jeunes pianistes !

Le 1er septembre 2024, trois de mes élèves primés ont été invités à se produire au DiMenna Classical Centre of Music de Manhattan, dans le cadre d'un autre concours américain, le Concours international de musique pour les jeunes.

Je donne cours en académie et j’enseigne le piano depuis de nombreuses années.
Parallèlement, je me produis sur scène avec différents ensembles et je compose pour plusieurs de mes groupes.
Mes cours s’adressent aussi bien aux débutants qu’aux pianistes confirmés.
Pour les débutants, le solfège est directement intégré et mis en pratique à travers le piano.
Nous travaillons la technique et la musicalité en tenant compte de votre niveau, de vos attentes et de vos envies.
Le répertoire est ainsi choisi en fonction du profil de chacun.
Nous jouons à partir de partitions, et mon objectif est de vous conduire progressivement vers l’autonomie : savoir déchiffrer une partition et acquérir une méthodologie de travail efficace.

Outre les avantages pédagogiques que cela représente et la dynamique que cela crée, c’est également l’occasion de pratiquer à quatre mains ou en duo.

Ich unterrichte seit 10 Jahren erwachsene Anfänger und Mittelstufe im Violinspiel und Violaspiel. Dabei wird der Fokus ganz unterschiedlich gelegt. Einer möchte gern Entspannung im Violinspiel finden. Ein anderer möchte gern ein bestimmtes Stück spielen können, weil es ihm gut gefällt. Ein dritter hat nach langer Zeit wieder die Geige ausgepackt.

Ich selbst habe > 10 Jahre Geigenunterricht erhalten und studiere derzeit Viola am Konservatorium Bozen. Ich habe 10 Jahre Erfahrung im Unterrichten.

Ich unterrichte klassische und auch elektrische Geige, immer auf den Schüler abgestimmt. Der Unterricht kann auch nach der Suzuki-Methode erfolgen.

Aufgrund meiner Banderfahrung mit Geige/Bratsche bin ich auch Ansprechpartnerin, wenn ihr Geige oder Bratsche in einer Band spielt.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Ik ben een Spaanse pianist en componist (MMus afgestudeerd aan Codarts Rotterdam in beide richtingen) met al veel jaren leservaring, en ook zeer actief op het gebied van optredens in diverse contexten.

Most jazz piano teachers offer you a weekly video call and wish you luck until next week. I offer something different. Over the past six years, I've built a structured teaching system for adults who are serious about learning jazz piano properly — whether you're a working professional who's always loved jazz and finally has time to learn, or a classically trained musician ready to break free from the page and start improvising.

What makes my approach different:
Every student gets access to an interactive practice platform with exercises you can work through between lessons — tension identification, voicing construction, ear training, and more. These aren't PDFs or YouTube links, they're purpose-built tools that track your progress and adapt to your level. On top of that, I design personalised weekly practice routines for each student. You'll always know exactly what to practise, how long to spend on it, and what "ready to move on" sounds like. No guessing, no wasted practice time.
