Step 4: Now that the whole house is cleaned and you know how to rap in five languages, you can come back to irregular verbs. On a second look, you notice that they follow patterns too. There are plenty of groups and forums that have the same concerns as you do. You can follow their tricks or come up with yours. Gangs of Irregular Verbs: 1. Verbs that remain the same in the present, past and past participle. ( identical form) 2. Verbs that are the same in the past forms, but not the present. (2 identical forms in the past) 3. Verbs that end in -en in the past participle. Step 5: Now that you have dissected the Big Scary List, it looks ten times smaller. You can use them in sentences and create short stories which have been proved to be more efficient mnemonics than lists. Step 6: Have fun and enjoy learning while learning how to learn.
