A* Politics and A Sociology Student, Now a Law Degree Apprentice, Offering Personalised Online A-Level Politics and Sociology TutoringTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Having recently completed my A-Levels, achieving an A* in Politics and an A in Sociology, I understand first-hand what it takes to succeed in these subjects. Now undertaking a competitive law degree apprenticeship, I aim to help students develop the knowledge, confidence and exam technique needed to achieve their academic goals. My Teaching Approach I believe that achieving top grades requires more than simply memorising content. It's about understanding how to apply knowledge effectively, construct convincing arguments and demonstrate the analytical and evaluative skills that examiners reward. My lessons are personalised to each student's individual needs, whether that's strengthening subject knowledge, improving essay structure or developing exam technique. I follow a structured approach: Identify areas for improvement: We begin by reviewing current performance, past essays and teacher feedback to understand where marks are being lost. Build subject knowledge: I break down challenging topics into clear, manageable explanations, using examples and revision resources. Develop exam technique: We work through past-paper questions, essay plans and model answers, focusing on argument development, evaluation and structure. Provide constructive feedback: I offer detailed feedback on written work, highlighting strengths and specific areas for improvement. Track progress: Lessons are adapted as students develop, ensuring we continue working towards their target grades. Lesson Structure My lessons typically last 60 minutes and are delivered online. Sessions combine subject teaching, active discussion, exam-question practice and personalised feedback. I can also provide revision materials, essay plans and written feedback between lessons to support independent learning. Who My Lessons Are For I specialise in: Edexcel A-Level Politics, including UK and US Politics. AQA A-Level Sociology. My lessons are designed for Year 12 and Year 13 students, whether they're aiming to strengthen their foundations, improve their predicted grades or push towards A and A* results. As someone who has only recently completed these qualifications, I can offer a relatable perspective alongside a structured, academically focused approach. My aim is to make lessons engaging, supportive and challenging, helping students become more confident and independent learners.
