I propose to give lessons from beginner level up to 1800 level, for all ages (from 6 or 7 years old) and whatever your goal (beat a friend, his dad or become a competitor) . The lessons take place by Skype, via the sharing of my screen (and the diagrams that I select). Sometimes we will have to do some exercises on Liches to make sure that the concepts have been understood. - The openings :
I make sure that my students have acquired the essential principles of openness (rapid development, takeover of the center, securing the king). Then, after studying the student's play style (rather positional or more attacking), we build, adapt or deepen his repertoire of openings. The idea is as much to understand the spirit of an opening as to know long variants by heart. After learning the theoretical basics, we will see the games played by the best players practicing your favorite openings of my student.
- Party backgrounds:
It is mainly about building plans. A chess player should think of himself as the general of an army. And no general shows up on the battlefield without a well-established plan, under penalty of stinging defeat! For this, we can also look at the different schemas and attacks of the opponent's weaknesses (weaknesses of the king or weakness of the pawn structure).
Beyond the tactical sacrifices immediately winning the game, we may also be led to see when to sacrifice equipment to develop a sustainable initiative.
We will also sometimes have to study some recurring pawn structures in the openings made by my students and how to maneuver based on that.

My name is Benoît. I learned to play chess at the age of nine (I have 33 today) and I was immediately seduced by this game combining memory, strategy and calculation. That is why and I quickly joined a club.
A year later, I am a departmental pupil champion before accumulating departmental and regional titles in the youth categories. Three or four years after my beginnings, I crossed the symbolic bar of 2000 élo. At that time, I played a lot in tournaments. I notably participated in the French youth championships twice. During my adolescence, I had the opportunity to play against young people who subsequently became masters or grand masters and to beat some of them, whether on the occasion of friendly or official games (Sébastien Mazé, Sébastien Joy, Sébastien Feller, David Housieaux etc.).
At the age of 14, I even had the honor of successfully facing our national Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in slow game (3 or 4 years younger than me but already more than 2200 elo!). Not having at the time the possibility of taking private lessons, which would have helped me to progress, and being unattractive by the study of the game by books, I then stagnated a little. At 16, I started playing less, more attracted by the joyful discoveries of adolescence than by tournament rooms, before completely stopping playing for a dozen years (with the exception of a few games on internet to keep control).
About four years ago, I started playing again, but I had very little time to practice (I was then editor of two cultural magazines). That didn't stop me from becoming the 2016-2017 Loiret champion in front of very good players for my first individual competition since my recovery. It seems that chess is like cycling: it is not forgotten! My current ranking is around 2060.
Tired of the daily pressure of managing a cultural magazine, I chose to return to my first passion: chess. I want to transmit it and my knowledge. In addition, I am very happy to practice in a field where human and pedagogy count as much as pure knowledge. As a journalist, I also took great pleasure in training our new recruits.
