As an Argentinean, I love to spread my culture by teaching tango and Argentinean folk music! I also have extensive experience in teaching classical music and popular songs. We will play a lot during the lesson and I will also help you develop correct technique, music reading skills and the art of musical interpretation. I have worked with students of all ages, levels and abilities. I teach online and also at my studio and at the University of Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Guitar along with the piano are the instruments that are responsible for harmony. In the workshop music will be approached mainly from that place, from the technical to the practical. That is, the reason why a set of notes played simultaneously sounds the way it does, and why it sounds. Learn the most common chords and be able to play your first song after just 1 lesson! You will build a solid foundation in guitar playing through carefully selected songs that you get to choose from. Once you get the hang of the fundamentals, you get to tell me which songs you want to learn during our lessons to expand your skills and become more proficient, and I will teach you how to read and play your favorite songs like a master! After learning the more common chords and basics of guitar playing, you will learn about strumming patterns, finger picking, and tabs through the songs of your choice. One benefit of this technological world is that we can find almost anything online if we know where and how to look, which includes most of our favorite songs.
