Hello! My name is María and I am a Spanish translation and interpreting student currently living in Frankfurt. Apart from my university education, I have also been trained in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and have experience in this field. I offer private Spanish lessons for adults, teenagers and children. I have years of teaching experience, including working at the Cervantes Institute in Bucharest for a few months. I am not yet fluent in German, but I can communicate in English (apart from Spanish, of course). Lessons will have a communicative approach and there will be a lot of speaking practice, as well as, of course, grammar, vocabulary and reading and listening comprehension. I finished my university studies in Philosophy and during this time I have taken courses at the Cervantes Institute to guarantee my Spanish teaching and thus increase my knowledge. In our classes a more dynamic method will be used, for this I base myself on how I have learned languages, that is, with more practice than theory, acquiring fluency focusing on practical and vital uses. That said, this part will depend to a greater or lesser extent on what the student in question is looking for. The material that we will use in the classes must be adapted to the needs of the student, what they want to learn the language and what their intention is with it, and to the level acquired with the language.
