Whether you are just starting to play the guitar or piano, or you are already an advanced musician interested in exploring complex compositional ideas and developing your own improvisational language, I am glad to help you in your musical journey. With seven years of teaching experience, I offer lessons for students of all ages and levels of advancement.

I focus on helping students develop both their instrumental skills and creative awareness. My teaching combines structure, intuition, and critical listening — whether we work on guitar technique, harmony, and phrasing, or on broader concepts of form, texture, and composition.

A typical session may include practical exercises on the instrument, analysis of selected works, guided improvisation, or composition tasks. Depending on your interests, we can also explore digital tools such as DAWs and live electronics.

My goal is to give students both technical precision and artistic freedom — helping each person build a deeper understanding of sound and their own musical identity.

As an independent musician and leader of two musical projects, I have acquired first-hand experience in many roles in the music industry (composer, bandleader, producer, guitarist, arranger). I am always happy to share my experiences, and find it very rewarding to help other musicians work on their craft and spark curiosity in developing their own personal voice on the instrument.

I hold a Master’s degree in composition from the Syddansk Musikkonservatorium in Odense, where I studied with some of the leading Scandinavian composers, Erik Ørum von Spreckelsen, Ejnar Kanding, and Rasmus Zwicki. Over the years, I’ve refined my approach through workshops and artistic residencies with artists such as Christian Fennesz, Maja S. K. Ratkje, Simon Steen-Andersen, Christian Lillinger, Kit Downes, Lage Lund, Samuel Blaser, Jim Black, John Escreet, and Marc Ducret.

As the leader of two projects, Semiotic Quintet and Akimbo, and an active instrumentalist, I have performed at festivals such as the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Central European Jazz Showcase (Brno), Polska Jazz Festival (Budapest), and Jazz Juniors (Kraków).

I draw on these experiences to help students shape their own artistic voice — connecting creative exploration with clear musical thinking.

Blues Guitar, by Keith Wyatt ed. Musician Institute
From the origin of Chicago to most complex jazz Blues, 15 units of progressive difficulty suitable for any guitar from basic level. Included transcription of J. Hendrix, S. R. Vaughan, A. King, E. Clapton.

Funky Guitar by Ross Bolton ed. Musician Institute
Thecniques in this class, divided in 10 units, are relate to traditional old “school”funk guitar playing and the groove guitar. Developing funk skills will make the student a better overall rhythm guitarist and generally it will improve the time feel. Jazz Guitar
Thecniques in this class are related to jazz repertoiore history and vocabulary. This course is suitable for intermediate/advanced guitarist who want to go deeper in the knowledge of the jazz guitar tradition.
Studying materials are taken from 10years period lessons had with: R Cecchetto, F. Cerri G. Monteforte, R. Bianchi, C.de cicco.

Finally there is an international guitar school in Copenhagen where all students are not only learning how to play properly the guitar from a professional guitarist but also how to appreciate the meaning of the music and arts.

Students will also be prepared for professional music education. So whether the student wants to become a professional guitar player or play the guitar as a hobby, they will always learn a constructive way to play the guitar and perform with the instrument.

Lessons are open for everyone (children, teenagers, adults). The students are welcome to the lessons from the age of 6.
Carlos is currently working as a teacher in Copenhagen with his own music school, His students represent several nationalities.

Carlos has excellent motivation with his profession and he is driven to help his students to achieve their best. You will find him to be a positive, hard-working, down-to-earth person with a good sense of humor. He has very good communicational and interpersonal skills which enable him to discuss any matter of concern with the students and their parents.

With the Classic guitar you will learn:
The basis of the classical guitar technique.
-To understand and play some studies, short pieces and important works written for this instrument.
-Music theory, harmony and music history. These are elements that will help you to be a great performer of the instrument.

With the Popular Guitar you will learn:
The basic rhythms to play numerous musical genres.
-Many chords to play your favorite songs.
-Music theory to better understand the music you like.

With over 8 years of experience teaching music, to both children and adults, I am passionate about inspiring my pupils through art and music! I have experience in teaching both celtic and pedal harp, music theory and piano.
Being passionate about learning new things and expanding my own knowledge, and I strive to instill this same enthusiasm in my students. As a teacher, I have a professional and individual approach to each student, aiming to uncover and explore one’s unique talents and abilities, through tailored methods and approaches.
