With the ever-growing film industry in Queensland and around the world there is so much opportunity for new actors to obtain work.
In this class I want to not only help you to grow your acting ability, but to help give you some exercises and a plan of action to make it into a career!
I WILL be your guide and you will learn to not only slay any audition you go to, but all of the tips and tricks for audition etiquette (online or in-person).
I WILL help to give you techniques to dissect a script and to bring out the best version of whatever character you are wanting to play.

In the first lesson, if you could bring forward some scripts you are looking to explore or a monologue or scene you would like to perform for me that would be fantastic and we can go from there!
Also, if you would like me to source some scripts as well for you to practise I can do that as well and send them to you prior to the lesson.

About Me
My name is Chenaya and I am an actress, singer, dancer, and model who graduated from a three year Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
I learned a lot over my three years at university, especially in the genres of voice training, stage presence and audition technique.
I have also had extensive training in film acting with the likes of Tom Mcsweeney and Kristy Sexton and have had a vast experience behind the screen through various short films, web-series and tv pilots.
I am mulit-faceted in the performing arts industry having explored lots of different avenues, including directing and modelling.
This therefore, gives me an incredibly unique eye for coaching being able to help with things like styling and personal grooming as well as dissecting scripts for performance.
I am well versed as well on the behind the scenes of a film set as I am currently studying directing and producing which helps me to understand further what it is required from actors on a set.
With my musical background, I can help guide you in the direction of singing coaching as well.
I am incredibly passionate about supporting all actors to become the best that they can be and believe that with a discerning eye and caring nature I can help bring out the fullest potential of my students!
