I adapt our lessons together to your unique needs and goals, including: • improving your accent and pronunciation; • helping you avoid steenkool English and typical ‘Dunglish’ words; • broadening your vocabulary; and • perfecting your use of tenses. Most important of all, I can help improve your confidence, which is the key to learning any language. A speciality of mine is Business English, so I can also help with everything from preparing for an interview or speaking in meetings, to giving a presentation. While my classes are 100% in English, I can also speak Dutch and Spanish. This gives me a real insight as to why students make certain mistakes, and how to best avoid them.

My name is Simone and I provide language and spelling tutoring to primary school students with a lot of love and patience. I also like to help foreign-language students with NT2 lessons. Together we make the tutoring both educational and enjoyable. I like to get to know each child well. Not only to make a child feel comfortable, but also to see what kind of lesson suits the child well. Every child is unique, which makes every lesson different. In addition to the school methods used, I make my lessons creative by using my own (playful) material that connects to the desired subject.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. This class aims to equip the student with a hands on knowledge regarding design. Design is not merely trends and style there is a whole concept and working behind it. You will get a hands on grip on research, mood board, pattern, draping, textile and design communication. If needed an advanced course of photoshop can be given to create technicals.
