• Jazz guitar student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels • 3 years of study at the "Jazz/Pop Studio" in Antwerp • 16 years of practice • Animator certified by the French Community These are the points that I address during a one-hour lesson, following a learning method that I have specially designed for children: fun, creative and rewarding! • A repertoire of songs and melodies with increasing difficulties so that the student progresses methodically. • A first approach to music theory and music theory in a coloring workshop for the little ones, in a musical context for the older ones. • Technical exercises, always in a musical context, in order to allow the student to overcome the technical difficulties of the guitar and to guide him towards total musical independence. • A “listening and discovery” part where I try to introduce the student to aspects of music that they are unaware of (improvisation, sound of instruments, different musical styles, the role of each instrument in a group/orchestra, etc.). ..) As said before, my goal is to guide the student towards musical independence so that he can progress on his own in the long term. Learning the guitar also means developing self-confidence, creativity, perseverance and methodology.

The guitar is an instrument of infinite richness—capable of expressing both the sweetness of an intimate melody and the power of a full orchestra. In this course, you'll learn to master the guitar as a means of personal expression, developing your technique, ear, and musicianship. Whether you are a beginner or already experienced, I will guide you step by step through the essential basics (posture, rhythm, chords, reading) to advanced techniques (arpeggios, improvisation, interpretation and arrangements). My approach connects instrumental practice with musical understanding, so you can not only play, but also understand and feel the music you create. Each lesson is tailored to your level and style—classical, modern, or creative.

Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. Obviously passionate about my favorite instrument, I am just as passionate about music theory. From baroque counterpoint to jazz harmony, from classical orchestration to digital music publishing, I have always thought that understanding the sound universe multiplies perspectives, opens up new horizons! My method is simple and has always proven to be effective: working in symbiosis with pure instrumental technique and the general understanding of music, its cogs which seem to the novice musician so mysterious. In addition to basic instrument learning, I also teach: 🎸️ Experimental instrumental techniques 🎸️ Work of virtuosity 🎸️ Picking game 🎤️ How to go well with singing 🎵️ Arrangement 🎵️ Composition 🎵️ Harmony (classical or jazz) 🎵️ Improvisation 💻️ MAO (Computer Aided Music) Exploring musical styles: #Pop #EXP #Classique #Electro #Jazz #Jazz Manouche #Art & Hard Rock #Chanson Française #Blues #Funk (60's / 70's) 🎥️ Possibility of lessons by webcam ️🇬🇧️ I also speak English 🏡️ I give lessons mainly at my home: Châtelain district in Ixelles, many transport nearby: 🚊️ bus (54), tram (92, 94, 81.) and metro (Louise). 🐸️ GREAT BEGINNERS welcome! I approach the subject matter freely, depending on the student's musical desires. I try, however, to maintain an affinity with music theory and proper guitar technique. Therefore, I base my teaching method on: - Pieces chosen by the student or suggested by myself -Thus, a wide range of technical exercises aimed at improving your dexterity and ease on the instrument ;) - Music theory: reading sheet music or tablature (depending on the student's expectations), harmony, ear training)

Learining the guitar or improving your skills is a wonderfull journey. But like all journeys you'll find your way quicker with a good guide. I have been playing for over 25 years and teaching for more than 15 years. From 7 to 77. I gig, record and write lots of music as a guitarist and conductor. I also play the ukelele, bass, cajon, piano and I have a voice too!
