We start the first lesson by drawing up concrete goals that the student has for this language and which teaching material you prefer to use. This can be very different per person. If it concerns extra lessons for a certain course, I will adjust my lessons accordingly. When it comes to retraining general knowledge, I compile my lessons myself based on the pace of the student and what knowledge is already known. I often work per theme, but I certainly also look at the relevance of the subject matter. The more often and the more discussed in the daily conversations of this language, the faster it will be discussed. In such a way that a good foundation is built on which to build further, and in such a way that the lessons can quickly continue in the language to be learned. Constantly hearing and speaking the language in question is, in my opinion, the fastest and most efficient method of mastering the language. Of course, this method is highly dependent on the age of the student. The lessons preferably continue online. If not possible, I can also come on site within a radius of 3 km around Ghent.
