My method is flexible, I use different techniques to always be able to focus on the needs of the student, and so that they can also set their own pace.
I think it is important to work on the technique of the instrument so that the student advances having a solid base and can feel comfortable with the instrument.
I always try to offer students the possibility of choosing some of the pieces that we are going to play, so that they feel more motivated, as long as it is appropriate for their level and we can work on the technique of the instrument at the same time.
