Master the piano - enrich your world. Grow your skills with tailored guidance from an experienced pianist and teacher.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Being highly skilled in sight-reading, I have often realised how valuable and enjoyable it is to possess that “gift.” After more than ten years of teaching students of different levels and aspirations, I have observed a common thread: regardless of their goals, all were eager to improve their ability to read and interpret new, unfamiliar music. Currently, I am developing a multifaceted approach designed to help students understand a composition at first sight. This method combines specific pattern recognition and structural score-mapping, anchored in a fundamental understanding of rhythm, pitch, and harmony, together with highly effective practice and memorization strategies personalized to each student's needs and technical challenges. For over ten years, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. In addition to regular lessons, I offer the opportunities to perform at the yearly class concert as well as dedicated preparation for ABRSM piano examinations. I'm a pianist with extensive performing experience on international stages and a first-prize winner of more than 30 international piano competitions across Europe and USA. I hold a Master's degree and four Postgraduate degrees (piano and chamber music) from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

As a singing teacher at the Berchem-Sainte-Agathe Academy and a professional singer, I offer individual singing and vocal technique lessons in Brussels, adapted to all levels. 🎓 Master in singing – Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel 🎓 Master's degree in vocal pedagogy – Royal Conservatory of Mons My courses aim to give you the tools to better understand, master and develop your voice, so that you can achieve the musical projects that are dear to your heart. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced singer, whether you are comfortable with music theory or not, we will adapt the work to your level, your voice and your objectives. We will work in particular on vocal technique, breathing, support, accuracy, musicality, articulation and interpretation, always in a personalized approach that respects the particularities of each voice. No prior knowledge of music theory is necessary to begin. Musical concepts can be gradually introduced during the course, according to your needs. I specialize in classical singing and early music, but lessons can also be adapted to anyone wishing to better understand and use their voice.

Singing lessons & vocal coaching – Pop, Jazz, Swing, Musical Theatre, Rock – Vocal technique – Saint Gilles, Forest, Ixelles, Uccle, BrusselsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Do you want to know your vocal range? To be able to sing higher notes without damaging your voice? To learn how to hit transitional notes? To achieve a powerful yet agile voice? To master belting, twang, distortion, etc.? My name is Matteo, I'm a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels and ages. My lessons focus on developing body, muscle, and vocal awareness, helping you perceive and consider your body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility. From a repertoire perspective, the lessons will be tailored to the student's needs and interests, with an emphasis on proper stage presence and posture. I can prepare students for conservatory entrance exams and all types of auditions. If the student wishes, I can also provide instruction in harmony and music reading.

I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured at the time as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have 6 years of experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds both in a homework schools as well as via private teaching. In private teaching, I have experience tutoring people with learning disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, Discalculia and more), younger kids of ages 7-12 and older students preparing for their final baccalaureate exams in advanced maths/physics curriculums. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life. Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! My lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

“ Have been taking lessons with Matteo for 6 months (approximately every 2 weeks) and couldn't be happier with the choice. His attention for identifying strengths and weaknesses in technique is excellent, and it's clear he genuinely cares about helping you to improve. I also really appreciated from the first lesson his nuanced approach to vocal technique, where instead of framing things as right or wrong, he focuses more on helping you to understand what you are doing (thus leaving room for stylistic choices). I have also found discussions regarding song composition incredibly helpful as an aspiring singer-songwriter. Overall, thrilled with the experience so far and have certainly started to see improvements in my vocal technique during the last few months. ”

“ Germán is a great teacher and also fun to work with. He first carefully diagnoses strengths and weaknesses and then designs tailored exercises around the learning needs and gives concrete feedback and shares vocabulary tips. If you search someone to better understand homework/grammar exercises or someone for stand-alone private classes, German is your guy for both. He can explain grammar or improve conversational skills. Before our private lessons, I took courses at the Cervantes institute and my professor there also respected him a lot for his teaching methods and knowledge. ”

“ Francesca is a committed, generous teacher, and her classes are the perfect mix between structure and creativity! I've made huge progress and gained self-confidence since the first lesson, thanks to regular, targeted exercises to train my voice and improve my breathing. Francesca understands well the issues and potential strengths of my voice, and adapts the class accordingly. Really happy so far, so I can only recommend :) ”
