Maths GCSE - suitable for all exam boards and also resits.
GCSE grades are a gateway to success and should be taken very seriously. What you grades you get in your GCSEs will shape your future. It isn't a matter of whether your child is smart or not, some children just need that extra support and push to thrive in an academic environment. I have had many experiences working with GCSE students and also students that have had to retake their GCSEs - so I know what methods work with different students. I have many success stories so book your Maths GCSE tuition session now! Don't be the one to hold your child back.

Jessica
I am here to help your child catch up, keep up and get ahead of their fellow peers.
Subjects Offered: English (KS1-GCSE) Maths (KS1-GCSE) History (KS2,KS3,GCSE, A-level) Law (A-level and undergraduate|) Economics (AS/A-level) Psychology (A-level) I enjoy imparting knowledge into others and enriching and enlightening young minds. I want to act as the springboard in propelling children and adolescents into higher education and to generally instil a life-long passion for learning. I want to be the key to unlocking things: these lightbulb and eureka moments will hopefully be the catalyst for subsequent independent learning. I am an empathetic and well-rounded individual with plenty of experience working in schools and tuition centres and thereby am fully aware of the relevant safeguarding procedures that are axiomatic to working with young people - I have a fully up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate. I also have an extensive background in neurodiversity and understand the nuances of these neurological differences that will enable me to devise specific interventions designed to get the best out of these students.

Benoit
Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacher
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics. I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.

Benjamin
Tutoring in physics and mathematics, primary to university level
During a regular school curriculum, the material to be assimilated can be considerable, so much so that many concepts are only understood superficially, just enough to pass an exam. In my opinion, it is essential to establish a solid foundation before building new knowledge. The course is therefore structured as follows: - Review of relevant physical and mathematical concepts prior to the course. - Course overview: We identify the key concepts, what is well understood and less well understood by the student, in which case misunderstandings are addressed. - Practice: We put new concepts into practice through a series of exercises aimed at anchoring the learning. - Summary: I like to conclude each session with a discussion where the roles are reversed: the student explains the concepts covered in their own words. It is often by trying to teach in turn that we highlight our misunderstandings — and really consolidate our knowledge! "If you cannot explain something simply, it is because you have not understood it well." - Albert Einstein - Written record: I give lessons via videoconference, with a tablet and stylus as a visual aid. Notes are taken on Notability and are shared at the end of the session.
