My teaching method is walking through each individual problem with a student and asking them first how they believe they should approach the problem. I try to guide students to the answer rather than give it to them directly. I often make analogies when I teach, for example if I am tutoring calculus 3, I make parallels to content they have already mastered in calculus 1. I also try to model the problem, especially with three dimensional problems.

Experience: I received a bachelor's in Physics from Northern Arizona University in 2019. I have 1.5+ years experience of tutoring calculus 3 through my university. I have taught upwards of fifty students, and have been told that I helped them achieve a better grade.

Hello, my name is Jessi and I recently completed my bachelor's in Physics. My goal is to make mathematics and physics approachable for anybody! I have tutored students from very diverse backgrounds, with varying education levels and learning styles. I believe with perseverance and patience, even the toughest of topics can be mastered.
