My name is Mariela, I am a classical singer, musicologist and singing teacher based in the Netherlands.

Are you passionate about singing but you don’t dare to do it in front of others? Do you have singers that inspire you and would you like to get closer to their music? I have more than 10 years of experience in signing and choir teaching. My method is based on a healthy way of producing sound, trying exercises that benefit the student and that are a totally personal experience. The genre? Your decision! Classical or pop, the choice of repertoire is a two-sided exercise, both you and I create a portfolio that will not only test your voice but will excite you and make your study fun and enjoyable.
The classes are individual and last 45 minutes for teenagers and 1 hour for adults. They can be in person in Amsterdam (Oost) or Hilversum (NL) or online.

My name is Davor, professional jazz musician and music teacher. I've been teaching for 9 years and I've met students of many different levels (from beginners to advanced), so everyone is welcome!

Besides jazz I can teach you many different styles, such as rock, blues, pop, funk, latin and brazilian music. I completed my master's degree in jazz guitar at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, so if you're interested, I can help you with composing, music theory, harmony and rhythm.

Hello, I'm Lisa, just graduated and very excited to share my musical knowledge with you. I studied at conservatories in Brussels, London, Milan and Amsterdam and also completed a teaching diploma, so I am fully qualified as a teacher.

I'm offering lessons for anyone interested in learning how to improvise, regardless of the instrument you play or the style you would like to improvise in.
Even if you have no or little theory knowledge yet, I have a way of getting you started with improvisation and then teaching you everything theoretical you need to know.

The Bass guitar lessons are given at all levels from beginners to advanced / professionals. You learn how to play the instrument, with the right attitude and the right technical and theoretical underpinning of everything you want to learn. A somewhat broader music theoretical knowledge can also be taught. Customization is provided to the student's wishes.

The music theory lessons provide insight into how western music theory functions and how it is applied in practice. Exercises are also done to develop the hearing and music theoretical exercises are done on the basis of either piano, guitar or bass guitar. The aim is to understand what the theory behind music is and why it functions that way.

The Guitar (or Piano) lessons are only given at beginners level. As a teacher, I am mainly concerned with what the student wants to achieve and what can be gotten out of the student. Do you want to learn that one new song by Billie Eilish, or an advanced piece by Stevie Wonder; I can always help you. The great thing about music is that you can learn and perform it at all kinds of levels. My job is to find the right level for the right student, so that progress can be made at the same time as there is fun during the lessons.

In addition, I find it important that my students not only play the piano, but also understand the music and build up a knowledge of the music theory behind the pieces. This has helped me a lot to quickly make big steps as a musician.

I teach violin to children and adults, beginners and advanced.

Every student is unique. Besides developing good technique, I also enjoy meeting each student's musical wishes and dreams. Learning to play the violin is a collaborative process!

From the very first lesson, I pay a lot of attention to playing together, because making music together is the most fun there is!

In addition to individual lessons, I support my students' playing in orchestras, ensembles, and bands. There are also several opportunities to perform with the accompaniment of a professional pianist. Once a year, I organize a video recording day with several students for competitions and contests.
