As a teacher specializing in mathematics, physics and computer science, I offer private lessons at home for college levels in Switzerland, as well as up to the second year of university and high school. I, too, experienced a challenging academic journey for this very reason. My struggles were not greater than those of others, but the rigid schedule limited my ability to fully flourish. Fortunately, with the support of my parents, I had the opportunity to attend a private school and fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a chemist. I am now a chemist who holds a degree from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and on April 11, 2019, I successfully defended a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). I consider that each student is different and therefore the course of the courses may vary. But in general, I like to review the course given by the professor, and if this one does not seem sufficient to you, I bring with me a summary of the subject. In order to discuss the theory, see if the concepts are well assimilated, because it is fundamental before doing exercises so as not to get mixed up. I try to bring the maximum of visual representations, I personally find that we remember and understand better when we visualize what we do. Then a lot of exercises. Maths and physics are subjects in which it is essential to practice as much as possible in order to see "all" the scenarios and develop techniques.
