Any level of student welcome. I have a first class degree in vocals and over 25 years professional singing experience. I will modify the class to suit the needs of the individual. There is no full size piano but a small keyboard is available for theory and pitch exercises.

Bring a song to sing, a YouTube backing track is fine as is a Capella singing.

Hello!

I am a professional, conservatoire-trained musician. I have worked on the West End, in regional and touring theatre, and as a gigging musician. I am also a highly experienced music teacher.

I am offering instrumental and theory lessons online, in the saxophone, clarinet, flute, vocals and piano.

My lessons are range from 30 minutes to one hour.

Born in Edinburgh, I graduated from King's College London in 2019 with an undergraduate degree in musicology. I attained my Flute Diploma (ABRSM) with distinction, and am continuing my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2021. I am the winner of the British Flute Society's Young Artist Prize 2020 and the Guildhall Needlemakers' Prize for Woodwind 2020.

In light of Covid-19 I am very happy to give online lessons.

At The Hap'ning Place we offer Kodaly Music Theory Lessons to all ages.

The Kodaly Method is an extremely successful way to learn musicianship; initially with the instrument you are born with (your voice!!)

Kodály's concepts are based on teaching, learning and understanding music through the experience of singing, giving direct access to the world of music with the most universal instrument. The Kodály approach to music education is student centered and skills are taught in a logical, sequential manner.

These can be individual lessons, as a part of your instrumental training or taken as a separate class.
If there are enough students, we will offer a group class and reduce the rate per person.
