As in my time at the university, I will try as much as possible to give you lessons tailored to your need. Would you like to talk about your favourite book, or the concert you watched last night, easily done, our classes will be then built around small, easy and fun exercises to help you practice.
Maybe you want to learn some French before your holidays in the country of croissant-cheese-and-wine, I ll make sure you practice the basics to order at restaurant, ask for directions, and other little tips and tricks to make your holidays as pleasant as possible.
Or you would like to learn and exchange about the French culture, I will be delighted to share with you my French way of life and all the French anecdotes!

Voulez-vous apprendre le français de tous les jours? C'est ce que je vous propose au travers de leçons amusantes, captivantes, pratiques et adopter a vos besoins!

Quelques mots a propos de moi. J'habite et travail aux Pays-Bas depuis 5 ans oú j'ai dans un premier temps terminé mon doctorat en biologie humaine, et commencé a travailler en tant qu'attaché de communication scientifique dans une agence de com.
Dans la vie de tous les jours, je suis un passionné de voyages et de cultures étrangères, toujours a l’affût pour partir a l'aventure. Mon voyage préféré, le Japon, ou je suis parti pendant 8 semaines de Novembre a Décembre en 2018.
A part ça, je lis beaucoup de livres fantasy et regarde quelques séries quand je ne fais pas de sport. Depuis quelques mois, je suis abonne dans un club de Kendo, de l'escrime japonaise.
Et quand il me reste du temps libre, j'aime partager du bon temps avec mes ami(e)s et ma conjointe autour d'une planche de fromages, de charcuterie et une verre de vin!

Pendant mon doctorant j'ai enseigné les bases de biologies aux étudiants de licence, une activité que j'ai toujours apprécié. J’espère pouvoir continuer l'enseignement et vous aider a parler français dans les prochaines semaines.

A few words about me. I live and work in the Netherlands where I started as a PhD student and obtain my degree in human biology, and now working in scientific communication agency.
In the day-to-day life, I am an enthusiastic traveller, passionate with foreign culture, always ready to start a new adventure. My favourite trip so far, Japan, where I backpacked for 8 weeks from November to December 2018.
Apart from that, I read a lot of fantasy book (Tolkien, Sanderson, you name it) et watch a few series when I am not doing sport. Since a few months, I have been register in a Kendo dojo, Japanese fencing.
When i have some time left in my agenda, i love to share and enjoy good times with friends and partner around a cheese plate, delicatessen and a glass of wine!

During my PhD, I used to teach Biology to groups of bachelor students, an activity that I always found fun and rewarding. I hope to be able to continue teaching and help you learn French in the upcoming weeks.

I create a learning experience (content and pace) adapted to your needs: speaking fluently, DELF/ DALF test preparation, conversations to help with travel or relocation or simply the pleasure of talking about subjects you are interested in. We can have our lessons in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying various aspects of learning a language. It's not just about memorizing complex conjugations!

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. Unless you wish to focus on specific skills, I try to include speaking, listening and reading during the session, while writing exercises are given as homework. Grammar points are handled as and when they come up.

Singing in French is no easy task, but as a native speaker and opera singer, I can help you!

We work on pronunciation together, first working on spoken text: getting acquainted with the French sounds and accent and working on how to make sure it sounds French even to a native French! When that's working well, we apply it to the singing.
If you want to practice on your own, I can record the text for you.
I can also help with you with the translation of a piece or questions you may have about a certain word, a saying or the subtext of a piece.
