About Me
Student interpreting-translation passionate about Spanish

I am passionate since very young by Spanish. At the end of the third, I opted for a Spanish international section (BACHIBAC). I obtained my BACHIBAC with 18/20 in oral and written and my French baccalaureate with honors. I have just obtained my degree in Languages, Literatures, Foreign Civilizations. My different stays in Spain including an Erasmus mobility in Granada allowed me to master Spanish.
Later, I would like to be a Spanish teacher or translator-interpreter.

I'm 21, I'm in civic service in Châtellerault for a gap year.
My first passion is Spanish but I also love sports like running and rugby. I like cooking and reading ... I am calm, caring, extroverted and smiling.
I chose to give private lessons because I love contact with others, and I'm in love with Spanish.
For my classes, I want to focus on the points that the student needs to work.

I am ready to answer all your questions with pleasure.

¡Espero veros pronto!
Education
I obtained the brevet des collèges, the literary baccalaureate with honors and the Franco-Spanish baccalaureate (bachibac), training in which my 4 hours of history and geography were taught in Spanish, an in-depth Spanish course, and a native Spanish assistant course to work the oral.

Mateo
My name is Mateo Wilde Maldonado, a second-year student at Sciences Po Paris, on the Poitiers campus, specializing in Politics and Government with a focus on Latin America. Originally from Bolivia, I have a bicultural academic background, having obtained both the French and Bolivian baccalaureate at the Lycée Français de La Paz. This dual education has allowed me to develop a solid command of languages and intercultural skills.

Language skills :
Spanish: Mother tongue.
French: Level C2. Language of schooling since my childhood and main language of my current studies.
English: Level C1. Solid academic and professional skills.
Portuguese: Level B1. Currently improving, with good understanding and ability to interact orally and in writing.
Academic background :
My career path is marked by a multidisciplinary approach which includes in-depth studies in:

History: Analysis of major social and political transformations from a global perspective.
Political Science: Comparative studies of political systems and international governance.
Law: Law courses taken in my final year and during my first year at Sciences Po, with a particular interest in constitutional and international law.
Public speaking: Training in public speaking, essential in my curriculum to develop argumentative and teaching skills.
Languages: Advanced mastery and teaching of Spanish, English and French, adapted to different levels.
Experience and motivation:
Building on my experience in a multicultural and multilingual environment, I developed a passion for language teaching as a vehicle for cultural transmission and communication. At Sciences Po, I had the opportunity to engage in collaborative and intercultural work that strengthened my ability to adapt to different audiences and contexts.

I want to use my linguistic and pedagogical skills to teach languages and support learners in their journey, whether acquiring the basics or improving their skills. My experience as a student in a demanding academic environment has also taught me to be rigorous, organized, and empathetic—qualities I consider essential in teaching.

Availability:
I am available for part-time or ad hoc classes, in person or remotely, depending on your needs. My student schedule allows me the flexibility to adapt to your requested schedule.

I would be honored to contribute to the linguistic success of your learners while sharing my passion for languages and cultural diversity.

Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to discussing my application further.
