Sara’s teaching is primarily based on the Estill Model (Level 1 & 2 training by Stephanie Marko & Charlotte Xerri). This model focuses on different structures of the voice in isolation, before combining and manipulating them to form a desired voice quality. Lessons delve into effective techniques used by pop, musical theatre, jazz, classical and opera singers, such as: ‘speech’, ‘twang’, ‘belt’ and ‘sob’.

Présentation

Sara is a British singer, songwriter, arranger, music director and educator. Having spent most of her early adulthood immersed in contemporary vocal music, Sara has worked with companies and ensembles such as BBC, Universal Music Group, VOCES8, Decca Records, Varsity Vocals and more, as director, arranger, producer, workshop leader and performer. She is founder and director of semi-professional vocal group, VERSA, one of the few successful all-female ensembles to come out of the a cappella scene. Sara has received multiple international awards for her vocal arrangements, and her original song ‘Sleepless Child’ (coming soon to all streaming platforms) took her to the final of the UK Songwriting Contest in 2015. Sara graduated with a First Class degree from King's College London in 2018 and has since gone on to work as a professional freelancer specialising in all things vocal.

I'm a qualified piano teacher with over 7 years of experience. I provide easy to follow and joyful lessons for beginners and advanced students. I have experience in ABRSM exams and I'm happy to prepare you. I am applying the Russian piano technique, as I myself have been taught by my Russian teacher who studied at the Tchaikovsky conservatoire.
I understand that not everyone enjoys strict teaching, thus I am flexible enough and can adapt according to my student's needs!

I'm also here for you to teach you how to play the piano and enjoy your music! If you're not into classical music, I can also teach you how to play pop/rock covers and soundtracks

P.S. I normally live in London and can travel to student's houses. However, due to the current CoVid-19 situation, I can only provide online lessons until further notice.

My name is Auriane, I live and work between Berlin and Athens. I'am also a professional musician and sing in many languages like Spanish, French, English... My practice is the result of 10 years of musical studies in France.
I also believe that singing is connected to the body and the way we use it, and become more aware of it. I acquired many tools in order to teach you how to sing your favourite songs in your own free way.
I'm convinced that there is not one way to sing "good" : we all have a voice and I am here to help you find it with exercices according to your own needs. As a recent graduate of Mountview and having worked in the industry for five years, I would love to now share my passion for singing! I have been singing for twelve years now and have had many amazing opportunities as a professional vocalist. I started as a pop singer but, in recent years, I have turned towards musical theater. As a performer, it is very important to be able to sing different genres of music. Therefore, I am able to help my students in whatever genre they need through my experience and knowledge. Whether you want to sing the latest Olivia Rodrigo song or are a big fan of Les Miserables, I can provide you with guidance into getting the sound that you want.

In my classes, I would like to give the student as much freedom as possible. The student can bring a song they would like to work on or I can suggest material. We will explore different methods and find out what works best for you!
Dependent on the level and what the student wants from the lessons, we can also talk about the anatomy of body and why we use certain methods to reach those hard notes. My passion in singing is to help students sing the songs they want to without damaging themselves and in a safe and fun environment where making mistakes is encouraged! I can also provide tips and tricks for those looking to incorporate their acting skills into singing.

My classes are open to all ages and levels. I have five years of experience working with children and teenagers through being an actor and workshop leader on Theatre In Education tours. Recently I started working as an after school drama club teacher and producer and realized how much I enjoyed sharing and working with others on the skills of a singer and performer.

My name is Andrea, I have recently concluded my Artist's Master in keyboard instruments at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. My passion for music induced me to apply in the “Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria” in the course of Harpsichord as my principal study. After 10 years studying music and obtaining the diploma of “Grado de Enseñanzas Profesionales” in the conservatory, I developed a deep interest for Classical and Early music for keyboard instruments.

Discovering a historical and musical universe, I decided to continue my performing and theoretical investigation studying the bachelor course in keyboard instruments including piano, harpsichord and organ. I had the amazing opportunity to obtain a scholarship and study at the "Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste", in Italy. Working with exceptional teachers, i was able expand my linguistic abilities and cultural appreciation for the expressive diversity of Keyboard music. I have discovered the magnificent variety between many composers all around Europe and the distinct features and techniques they utilized to improvise and to embellish their pieces. During this artistic journey, i have had extraordinary performance experiences as a soloist including playing at the Parlament of Brussels and the National Gallery in Bosnia. Recently, living in London has inspired me to take part in a wide variety of exciting projects such as performing as a keyboard accompanist in Opera Scenes and with the Guildhall Baroque Orchestra in the Milton Court Concert Hall.

With me, you’ll discover the countless ways the piano can express music. You’ll explore compositions from various composers, periods, and styles, from the classical works of Mozart, Bach, Debussy, and Chopin, to modern pieces, pop songs, and jazz, including Shostakovich. Through eurhythmics exercises, you'll not only play but also feel the music by moving with it, enhancing your musical knowledge and deepening your emotional connection to sound. If you're unsure about moving with the music, don’t worry—I’ll be there to guide you in finding a way to enjoy and love music. I've played the piano since I was five years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree from the Geneva Music University. More recently, I completed my MA in Interdisciplinary Dance Performance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. While my teaching experience mainly focuses on children aged 5-10, I am also well-versed in providing music training and piano lessons for adults.
