My name is Blanca and I am a lyrical singer graduated from the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. Master in Spanish and Latin American music. Active singer and teacher. I have experience as a teacher of both lyrical and modern and musical singing. I have taught children from 4-5 years old, adolescents, adults and the elderly. I also prepare voices for actors, for choral singers who want to improve and for people who need vocal technique in their work and want to correct or improve vocal delivery, and not get tired talking.

I teach classes in Madrid (Puerta del Ángel area next to Puente Segovia) and at home (consult). Classes for one or several students, small groups too.

In the classes you will learn to work the voice technically and interpretively, understanding that the voice works together with the body, posture, resonators, expression, breathing, vocal technique, repertoire, language, color, expressiveness, physical condition and psychology of the singer.

The classes are made up of a first technical part with specific exercises to learn how the voice works and training various aspects of the voice such as breathing, air, connection, resonators, etc. with various types of vocalizations focused on working on different aspects. Then we work on the works and songs, applying the knowledge acquired to the repertoire, focusing on the emission, expressiveness and vocal technique necessary for the work and style. We also study the phonetics of the language of the song (Spanish, English, French, German and Italian).

About Me

I am a lyrical singer graduated from the Higher School of Singing in Madrid. I began studying violin (Professional Degree in violin) and dance (modern theater and classical ballet with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) in Granada and later in Malaga. I also completed a Master's degree in Spanish and Latin American music (UCM).

Additionally, I have trained in vocal technique of lyrical and modern singing (Estill Voice I and II training), pedagogy and evaluation of the singing voice, choir direction and interpretation for singers.

I have been part of various training-professional projects such as the Andalusian Program for young performers, the Young Choir of the community of Madrid, the Malaga Opera Choir or the Cuenca Religious Music Week Choir, among others.

I work as an opera singer, singer-actress, and teacher. I have artistic experience working in various shows, concerts, zarzuela, opera, and oratorio. I have worked for several companies, both nationally and internationally. I have professional experience as a soloist and in professional choirs.

My approach in classes integrates voice work with a holistic vision, working on breathing, posture, vocal technique, musicality, expressivity, style, interpretation and applied languages, using different tools to achieve a balanced and expressive voice. I integrate information and resources into classes to work on voice, sound, expressive capacity, health and vocal hygiene...

I integrate into the classes various therapeutic techniques applied to the voice and sound, such as Tibetan bowls and harmonic singing, as an extra option to the singing classes at the student's request.

I teach lyrical and modern singing classes. I hold a degree from the Madrid School of Singing and am a practicing singer.
